His soul

Chapter 35:Restless

Gina who has a morning schedule chooses to go straight to work without breakfast, her time is up to transform into Gabriel while at work. Arriving at the office as usual, Gina became the first courier to arrive earlier than the rest of her friends.

"Shit," Gina grumbled annoyed when she realized that she was 30 minutes ahead of her work schedule.

Gina forgot her favorite alarm clock ran out of battery yesterday and she hasn't had time to replace it, so this morning when Gina looked at the clock on the nightstand it was already 8 in the morning. When in fact it was still 6 in the morning, what an annoying carelessness.

When Gina was cursing in front of the absent machine from the parking lot, Sara, the director of the office where Gina worked, walked up to Gina who was still cursing her stupidity in front of the absent machine.

"Is the engine broken?" Sara asked softly.

"It's not the engine that's broken but..."

Gina's words stopped when she saw who it was who had just spoken to her.

"Miss Sara," Gina said quietly as she stepped back, trying to keep her distance from the beautiful girl.

Sara Brunzel the hazel eyed girl smiled at her new employee's very polite attitude, for the new Sara only Gina who never wanted to look at her for more than a minute. Unlike her other office employees, who would steal glances at him secretly or openly. Damn, of course Gina is different. Gina is a normal girl disguised as a man!

"Just call me by my name, Gabriel. I prefer to be called directly like that without any frills or anything like that." Sara smiled sweetly as she spoke.

Gina shook her head. "Such a call is made to distinguish a person's status, Miss. So it's only natural that I call you Miss."

"Stubborn, whatever. But this time you have to do something for me."

"Do what?"

Sara raised her left hand to her chest. "Accompany me to eat, this morning I lost my appetite."

"Is it okay if you dine with a lowly employee like me?"

Sarah chuckled. "Of course not, come on, let's go to my room." Sara excitedly pulled Gina's hand into the office, at first Sara was surprised when she felt the smoothness of Gina's hand. But in the end she kept quiet and admired her new courier even more.

Arriving at Sara's room which is on the fourth floor of the building, Gina is invited to sit on the sofa, lucky Gina has a towering height so that the difference in height with Sara who is wearing high heels is not much different. With her height, Gina is never bothered by bullying students at her school.

"Wash your hands first, Gabriel," Sara said softly as she placed her lunchbox in front of Gina.

"Salmon sandwich."

Sara lifted her face and looked at Gina who had just mentioned the name of today's morning lunch. "Is this a salmon sandwich?"

"Yes."

"How did you know?" Sara asked curtly, because she herself didn't know what the sandwich was made for her.

Gina chuckled, then pointed at the salmon tucked into the sandwich. "It's easy, the color of salmon is different from other fish. The fiber is also different."

Sara, who couldn't believe Gina's words, then lifted one of the sandwiches from her lunch box and looked at her intently, she who had never touched the kitchen automatically couldn't recognize the type of fish. Especially the salmon that has been sliced thinly like the one in the sandwich.

Seeing Sara staring at her sandwich seriously made Gina who just sat back down after washing her hands chuckle. "If you don't believe it's salmon, you'd better ask someone at home."

Sara's face reddened at Gina's words, she then put her sandwich quickly on the small plate she had prepared beforehand.

"Why argue over such a small thing, after all I knew from the start that it was salmon. So why should I ask the maid at my house again," Sara said curtly, trying to maintain her dignity.

Gina giggled. Gina, who hasn't eaten breakfast yet, chooses to enjoy the salmon sandwich that her boss brought voraciously. Sara, who was previously annoyed, smiled when she saw Gina enjoying the food she brought, in her mind the idea of bringing more lunch the next day so that she could have breakfast together with her new type of employee. A tall man who doesn't have as many muscles as the men who have been approaching her, Sara prefers a man like the figure Gabriel made by Gina.

***

After seeing the pictures of Gina with his wife last night this morning, John's attitude was very different, he was no longer as chatty and stiff at the dinner table as usual so that Selena and Rosa who were arguing could not separate. I don't know why every breakfast the two brothers always fight, like this morning.

"Selena, succumb to your sister. You're the bigger one, baby," Barbara said softly, trying to resolve the dispute between her two grandchildren.

Selena turned to her grandmother. "Why me? Grandma should have scolded Rose, since she's been bothering me, Grandma."

"Grandma knows, just try to budge just once. You're an adult my dear, you're going to college soon, aren't you?"

Hearing Massimo's name being mentioned made Selena angry, with emotion she grabbed the glass in front of her and immediately poured its contents on Rose.

"Selena, are you crazy?!" Rose screamed loudly after Selena poured a glass of orange juice on her.

Selena folded her arms across her chest. "That's punishment for your careless talk."

"What are you saying?"

"Stop, how long are you going to be like this?" John Sanders snapped suddenly.

Selena and Rose immediately fell silent, both of them who were ready to attack each other immediately lowered their faces when they heard the screams of their grandfather.

"You are the descendants of Sanders, since many years ago our family has not been as arrogant as the two of you. Do you want to embarrass me, huh?!"
