Alex looked at Hana with shock, He didn\'t expect her to give him that job. \'I was sure that she would have wanted to end it herself… But I think she is just scared that she could let him escape with all this happening. I need to live up to her expectations and take that man down!\' Alex was filled with energy. He wanted to take the man down as well. Even though he didn\'t have anything personal with that scientist, from everything he read and heard, Alex despised the man to the core.

The two masked Awakeneds jumped towards Hana, Their increased strengths were fighting. Each one of their attacks was equivalent to the attack that Hana had landed on them before. So It was safe to say that they were nearly equal to Hana individually.

The scientist looked at Alex and smiled. "I already have a lot of information on you child. Enough to kill you without even taking any serums myself!" The man was very confident.

Alex didn\'t know what to expect from the scientist so he kept his guard up. \'He is around your power level... Around mid A rank so you can take him down easily. Just be sure to take him out before he can take the serum for himself. If he takes the serum, then it\'s game over as he could reach above what we can currently do… Well, I think we can still take him on even after but better to be safe. Just attack to kill!\' Hades roared.

Alex also roared as his eyes began to glow a dark blood like crimson red. He pulled out the two guns and started to shoot at the scientist, not giving any time to react.

The scientist was baffled by Alex\'s moves. "What…. How.. You had daggers, How do you have guns now. And that red eye. What\'s going on with your powers…" The scientist took a deep breath and laughed out loud.

He also roared and punched the air. Behind him, a large tentacle like organism started to grow. Once it was as big as Alex, the tentacle started to mimic the scientists\' hands. It seemed to be controlled by him.

The scientist punched towards Alex from afar, as he did so, the tentacle behind him stretched and shot towards Alex.

Surprised by the attack Alex jumped back but he was slightly hit by the tentacle. However, the attack seemed to be very weak and didn\'t affect Alex as much as he thought it would.

Alex looked at the scientist and smiled, He jumped up in the air and started to shoot the guns repeatedly towards him. The bullets shot straight to the man\'s body, but before it could hit him, another tentacle grew from the ground, striking the bullets.

However, to the scientist\'s shock, a few of the bullets bent in the air, completely dodging the tentacle and striking him in the arm and leg. The scientist screamed in pain as he looked at the blood on his hands and legs. He looked at Alex.

To Alex\'s surprise, however, The Scientist wasn\'t angry but in fact, Happy. He laughed at Alex and spoke, "Kid, you\'re a fool! Just wait till I kill you!" He continued to Laugh as he took out a syringe. "To think that I have to use this… But I guess It\'s only the right thing to do against another freak like Hana." He mumbled before Stabbing his leg with the syringe.

Within seconds of using the syringe, The wounds on the Scientist\'s body had completely healed. He looked more energized and his power seemed to have grown a lot. Alex was slightly annoyed by this but it didn\'t stop him. He ran towards the scientist while he was still distracted by the syringe to take him down up close.

Alex dodged the tentacle and jumped straight towards the scientist but within a split second, another few tentacles, smaller in size grew in front of the scientist, making a small wall for Alex.

Seeing the tentacles, Alex shook his head and extended the gun\'s knife. He cut towards the tentacles but soon found that it wouldn\'t cut at all. The tentacles would just grab the blade with what looked to be some sticky mucus around its exterior.

Alex pulled his gun back and jumped back to dodge another attack from the tentacles. \'These ones are different… The one before felt like it was nothing. There was also no mucus on it but these have the mucus and I can see large needles at the tip…\' Alex noted to himself.

The Scientist looked at Alex and smiled. Hades seemed to notice something and immediately told Alex to back off. \'Kid, get way now! I need to check something…\' Alex jumped back and dodged the barrage of attacks from the scientist. The tentacles seemed to be deadly but they were slow so Alex could dodge them without any huge problems.

\'It looks like I was right… That damn bastard seemed to have something stuck to the outside layer of his tentacles… which in turn injected you with what looks to be poison. But it was so minimal that I couldn\'t even notice it initially. Even now, I needed to check your entire body thoroughly to find a tiny amount of that poison… But this time it seems like the poison is feeding on your blood and growing by itself. We need to take care of that or else, It\'s going to be a huge problem!\' Hades spoke quickly.

He thought for some time and then continued, "Alex, quickly stab your left leg!"

Alex was confused for a second but followed along. He stabbed his left leg and let the blood flow. After a few seconds, the wound started to heal but Hades didn\'t seem to be satisfied," Now at your thighs, quickly!" he spoke once again.

Alex once again stabbed his thighs. This time, a huge amount of blood seemed to be flowing from the wound, along with the blood, Alex some pink liquid as well.

Hana, who was in the middle of the fight turned to Alex and was in shock at what he did. "You idiot, that amount of blood is lethal!" She spoke as she saw Alex\'s pale face.
