Harry Potter's Book of Sin

Chapter 49

The creature was fierce in nature and was twisting its body, trying to rush through Maka's barrier spell.

Marca narrowed her eyes and directly used the Christmas present Snape gave him.

"Shenfeng has no shadow!"

The sword turned from the spell is invisible, but extremely sharp. With one blow, the incoming creatures were torn apart and fell into the trees with a "plop".

"Peruvian poisonous horned lizard?" Maka looked hesitantly. "Does Ravenclaw have a hobby of collecting magical creatures?"

But before he could continue to think, there was another movement in front of him.

There are many magical creatures in this island. Although most of them are not very dangerous guys, they still delay him a lot of time.

But what made him curious was that he found many big pits in the woods, and most of the trees around those pits were crooked. The soil turned up in several pits looked very new and vaguely wet

When he killed the attacking creatures again, he habitually pushed aside the trees, and suddenly he felt his sight clear.

It was a strange building built in the middle of the woods. It looks like a separate tower, but many large and small pointed huts extend from the outer wall. Although none of the individual rooms looks very big, the whole is quite bloated.

At the top of the tower, a huge eagle shaped shield is inlaid. The golden eagle on black background is very eye-catching, which seems to announce the identity of the owner here.

Time has passed for a long time. The building is already covered with green vines, showing a vibrant appearance.

Maka went to the gate and slowly pushed open the already congested gate, but found that it was as clean and natural as it had just been built, as if the owner had just left in the morning.

Willie still obediently followed him, but her eyes stayed on some wild flowers at the door.

As soon as you enter the door, there is a fairly spacious circular hall, with decorative items such as tapestries on the wall. The ground was paved with large stone bricks, but there was not much wear and tear.

In the middle is a spiral staircase leading to the top of the tower. Looking up, there is a faint light penetration. Just because the lights on the wall had not been lit, it made the hall look a little dull.

Marca and Willie stepped into it, looked more and found that the canvas on the wall was only the background, and the cabinet was already empty. There seemed to be nothing valuable here.

There is a big room on the second floor. He went in and looked at it roughly. It seemed to be a study, but the bookshelves inside had already been empty.

"Maybe they all moved to Hogwarts!" Marca couldn't help thinking.

Further up, there are two smaller bedrooms.

Although many things have been taken away, some things have been left in the room on the right. Maka went in and looked, and immediately found that there were several old books on the table of a desk.

"Magical biology experiment notes?"

He turned it over casually, but found that it not only recorded a lot of experimental data, but also interspersed with many casually recorded feelings of the day between the later experimental contents.

Some contents are related to experiments, but the more later, there will be a lot of essays in daily life.

"The name 'Eun' appears a little more often!" Maka couldn't help but start talking to herself. "From strangers to gradually have a good impression... How does it feel like peeping into other people's emotional diaries."

He thought about the sentence "this is also the place where royna and Ravenclaw met" said by the bronze eagle, and couldn't help turning the notes to the title page.

The signature on it made him feel a little puzzled - Roy Namira.

"Royna Ravenclaw's real name? Where on earth is royna from?"

Although I can't figure it out for the moment, this is not the main purpose of coming here this time. Maka closed her notes and slipped them into her suitcase.

"Anyway, Roy Na must not need it. I'll keep it for her..."

But at this time, Willie, who had been silent, rarely took the initiative to speak.

"Mom said it's not good to steal."

Maca looked at her expressionless face and felt that she had no strength to make complaints about it.

"OK, OK, I'll put it back."

As he was talking, he saw a loud "pa pa" noise around him. A large group of elves immediately surrounded them and looked at him and Willie with big, round eyes.

"Who are you?"

"Oh! This is human!"

"Wow, it's really human!"

"Oh! It's really as high as mom said!"

Maka looked at the messy voices around him and was stunned for a moment - he found he couldn't understand!

Fortunately, the house elves didn't seem to have any malice, just looked up and down around him and Willie. It's like they haven't seen anyone for a long time.

Maka roughly counted the number, which looked like more than 30. But when he inadvertently looked back, he found that even the back door and corridor were crowded with house elves of different looks. The number is endless at a glance.

These elves feel completely different from other domestic elves outside.

Let's see whether they are tall or short, fat or thin - although the tallest is less than half a person's height, they all have distinctive appearance and unique behavior.

Even the same big ears and long flat nose have their own characteristics.

Of course, the biggest difference is their clothes!

As we all know, domestic elves don't have serious clothes to wear. They were intelligent magical creatures conquered by wizards in ancient times. Starting from a large number of servile training of the first generation, each generation will be taught by the words and deeds of enslaved parents. In this way, the identity of slaves has even become their nature from generation to generation.

Slaves, on the other hand, could not wear proper clothes - that was proof that they had been abandoned by their masters. This idea has even been engraved in their souls.

If you give a house elf a dress, even a sock or glove, they will scream and run away. That is a cruel reality that they absolutely can't accept.

This, even in the kitchen at Hogwarts, has not changed.

But these elves in front of Maka brought him a feeling of freedom. He did not see that kind of servility deeply rooted in his bones in any of the elves.

"You are... Um, loina's..." Maka tried to search for the right words, took them apart and said word by word. "Are you... Friends of loina Maira?"

Suddenly, this large group of elves began to talk. The noisy scene made Maka's head dizzy.

"Oh! Humans are talking!"

"Yes! Yes! He asked us if we were friends of the Roy Namira witch!"

"Of course we are not friends of the Roy Namira witch!"

"Oh, yeah! We haven't seen her!"

"But my grandpa's grandpa's grandpa's... How many grandpa came before?"

"Who knows! I can't remember!"

The Elves were chattering, but they heard a cough outside the door.

"Cough, be quiet! Don't you remember the rules? What do you do when guests come?"

An old elf suddenly came in from the door. Maka immediately found it, and the surroundings became quiet. After a while, several elves next to the table stepped aside. With the sound of "pa pa", an elf took a tray and put two cups of black tea on the table.

Maka opened her mouth, but she didn't know what to say - people didn't seem to understand?

He was thinking, but he heard a similar noise outside.

"Oh! Those stupid dragons are coming again -"

"Drive away, drive away!"

"Oh, my God! Those big guys are out of their minds!"

"Yes, yes! I have a bad memory. I've just been driven back for a few days!"

Maka was stunned and saw that the elves in the house moved one by one. He hurried to the window, but he saw a sight rarely seen by wizards outside the island in his life.

I saw a group of fire dragons rushing into the invisible barrier outside the island. Their dark green scales and glittering long horns make it easy to distinguish their species - they are a group of Romanian Longhorned dragons!

Maka roughly counted, big and small together, there were more than 20!

Adult Romanian Longhorned dragons usually grow to 40 feet long. Although this is not the largest of fire dragons, it is not low in ferocity and cruelty.

When Maka hesitated to do something, she saw the red halo on the outer wall of the high tower under him again.

The halo became bigger and bigger. The whole tower was covered inside. It looked like a red aperture outside the tower.

The fire dragons flapped their wings and rushed towards this side. But when they gradually approached a certain range around the tower, the red halo around the tower suddenly shook and then spread away silently.

There was a bit of confusion among the dragons. They tried to avoid by flying ability, but they still couldn't avoid it - the speed of aura is too fast!

As soon as the fire dragons were touched by the halo, they sent out a burst of mourning, and were pushed back to the edge of the island by the rapidly spreading halo without resistance. Several dragons couldn't even maintain their flying posture. They fell on the shoals by the sea and splashed for a while.

But the remaining dozen fire dragons are not discouraged. They seem to have been used to this situation. After readjusting their posture, they burst into the tower again, much faster than the first time.

Maka looked down. It seemed that the red light was still gathering around the tower, but for a while, it could not gather into a halo again.
