Harry Potter's Book of Sin

Chapter 43

Hermione swallowed the potion in her mouth and found that it was as cold as ice and penetrated all over her body at once. Under her feet, she walked firmly over the high wall formed by the black flame.

For a moment, she seemed to see nothing, and her eyes were dark. When she saw the light again, she was stunned.

What kind of magic can make a room look like this?

Standing here is like standing on a mirror like calm lake - in fact, there is water under her feet at the moment, but she didn't fall down because of it.

In the middle of the lake, there is a gray white rock platform. Now there is a man standing on it.

"You!" Hermione looked at the familiar figure and couldn't help shouting.

It was neither Snape nor Voldemort, but the stuttering and timid looking defense against the dark arts professor, quelinas Chilo.

Chilo still wore his funny headscarf, but now that he was here, Hermione was a little creepy.

Chilo turned and looked at Hermione with a surprised face and smiled.

Now his face was no longer twitching at will, and his speech was as smooth and fluent as others.

"It's me," he said calmly. "I was just wondering if I would meet Potter here. But I don't think it's surprising that you, Miss Granger, can come here."

"Oh! It's you, so Snape has been watching out for you! This makes Harry mistakenly think that Snape wants --" Hermione is obviously smart, and because of Marca's relationship, she doesn't have as much disgust for Snape as Harry.

She thought it over and almost straightened out the cause and effect.

"Snape?" Chilo laughed. This laughter was not his usual sharp and harsh vibrato, but a chilling sneer.

"Yes! Snape really doesn't look like a good man, does he? He flies around like a giant bat, which is very helpful to us. With him there, who would doubt Ke, Ke, poor, knot, knot, stuttering Chilo, professor?"

"No, I think Professor Dumbledore noticed," Hermione restrained her uneasiness and fear and pretended to look down at the lake. "Am I right? Professor Dumbledore!"

Chilo was obviously frightened and trembled. He took a few steps back, his eyes fixed on the lake, but he didn't see anything.

"No - it's impossible!" cried Chilo crazily. "Dumbledore has been cheated to London by me! He can't be here at this time!"

"Professor Dumbledore," continued Hermione, who felt that she had been corrupted by Marca and knew how to lie, "I think Professor Chilo is just obsessed. He must have been confused, or he would never do such behavior. After all, it is obviously impossible to steal the Sorcerer's stone under your protection."

Chilo was trembling. He kept saying "impossible" and leaned towards the middle of the stone platform. He knew that with Dumbledore's unfathomable magic power, he could come back at any time; Or - actually Dumbledore didn't go at all?

"Fool!"

A voice suddenly sounded somewhere behind Chilo. In that rough and weak voice, there was a frightening cold and ruthless.

"That little girl is lying to you! Dumbledore is not here at all!" the voice roared, "if you dare to run away, I'll make you want to die!"

Chilo was so frightened by the sound that he knelt directly on the ground, shaking all over and begging for mercy.

"Voldemort, Voldemort!" said Hermione in horror.

"Catch her!"

Voldemort screamed. Chilo immediately waved his wand and hit Hermione's wand far away with the disarm spell. Then he waved again, and Hermione felt an invisible force restricting her movement.

Hermione fell to the ground, but Chilo didn't care about her anymore. Instead, he followed Voldemort's orders and continued to study the secrets in the room.

"Master, it should be right here," Chilo whispered. "There is nothing on the platform, only a sword inserted on the ground."

"Pull up the sword!" said Voldemort in a low voice.

Chilo immediately reached out and grasped the sword inserted in the center of the platform, but he couldn't pull it out at all.

"Hum, let me see for myself." Voldemort snorted coldly and ordered Chilo.

"But, master... Your strength has not recovered!"

"This strength... I still have."

Hermione struggled, but found herself unable to move. She watched Chilo raise his hand and take off the scarf on his head - what's going on? The big scarf fell down, and Chilo's exposed head looked surprisingly small.

"Oh -"

From Hermione's point of view, it was easy to see that Chilo had a terrible face on the back of his head! The color of the face was as white as chalk, the red eyes were shining, and below were two slender nostrils like snakes.

Those eyes swept over Hermione and made her hold her breath. The next moment, Chilo turned around.

"Well -- oh, yes. Gryffindor's sword is stuck on a rock?" Voldemort's low, hoarse voice showed a trace of mockery. "Dumbledore's little trick looks familiar."

"Bring that little girl here and let her pull up her sword. Only she can do it here."

"Yes, master," Chilo replied cautiously.

He walked quickly towards Hermione, pulled her up and dragged her to Gryffindor's sword.

Hermione couldn't help looking at the sword. It was a two handed cross sword with complex lines. There was a ruby shining on the handle. It was obliquely inserted on the platform, which seemed not difficult to pull up, but Chilo didn't lift it with all his strength.

"Sword in stone?" seeing this scene, Hermione couldn't help blurting out her guess.

"Well, it's just a little trick made by Dumbledore imitating the story of sword in stone." Voldemort disdained to say, "pull it up quickly and finish your task. Don't talk."

Hermione bit her lips and said nothing. She didn't move.

"Chilo!" Voldemort roared.

"Yes, master!" Chilo pulled Hermione up, waved her wand, removed the restrictions on her, and then pressed her hand on the hilt of the sword.

"Pull! Or do you want Chilo to give you a soul snatching spell?"

In Voldemort's angry roar, Hermione was really afraid - she had never seen such a terrible person.

Moreover, she saw some information about the soul snatching spell in the book about "brain closure" given to Harry by Marca. It was a terrible spell. It can directly control the human soul and let the subject do anything under the control of others.

Hermione held the handle of the sword with a trembling hand, but found that the sword was surprisingly light. She pulled it out with only a little force. And the ground also broke a lot, revealing a small space below.

"Ha ha - I see it, right down there!" Voldemort laughed. "Chilo, take it out! It's time for you to do your service!"

Chilo quickly turned around, pushed Hermione away and quickly extended his hand.

"Oh - the Sorcerer's stone! It's really a sorcerer's stone! Master, I've got it for you!" Chilo held up the transparent gem, which was red as a whole and with a little gold inside, and lowered his head so that Voldemort could see it.

"Hum - hahaha - well done! You will get the reward you deserve." Voldemort looked at the stone happily, and the red light in his eyes became more and more profound. "With it, I can perfectly resurrect and return to this wonderful world with real eternal life! Hahaha - EH -"

Voldemort was just halfway through his words, but he found that Hermione jumped up and slapped the stone on the ground. Voldemort forced Chilo's neck up and watched it fall heavily to the ground, but it snapped to pieces.

"No -- how can it be! Little girl, I want --" Voldemort's anger reached the extreme. He looked at Hermione like crazy, but suddenly stopped talking.

Hermione retreated quickly in fear. She didn't know where the courage had driven her to do it, but she knew that she was in danger.

But Hermione stood by the black flame wall and waited for a while, but found that Voldemort was not looking at her at all, but staring at the calm lake.

"... sword in stone, hum, sword in stone?" Voldemort hated the tunnel. "What sword in stone! I almost fell for that old man!"

"Lord, Lord, Lord, what's going on?" Quirrell was terrified. He really stammered this time.

"It's good that King Arthur pulled up the sword in the stone, but it wasn't it that helped him to his peak!" Voldemort seemed to explain and to himself, "The sword in the stone broke during the duel, and then his best friend and mentor, the wizard Merlin, took him to a lake and obtained the 'sword in the lake' in the hands of the holy woman in the lake. That's the real 'broken steel holy sword'!"

"So -- that was a fake Sorcerer's stone, really in the lake?" Chilo answered.

"Let that stupid little girl insert Gryffindor's sword into the lake!" cried Voldemort.

Hermione saw Chilo coming towards her and immediately raised the wand she had just sneaked over to pick up, but she didn't want to be hit by Chilo again. It was obvious that she was not Chilo's opponent at all.

It seems that the statement that Chilo was once an excellent student at Hogwarts is indeed true.

"Floating into the sky!" a simple floating spell made Hermione fly into the air under his control, and then fell suddenly.

When the blade of Gryffindor's sword touched the lake, Hermione immediately felt a burst of instability under her feet, and then she was surrounded by cold - she fell into the water!

The lake was gradually churning. Before long, a red stone suddenly flew up from the lake and was summoned to his hand by Chilo with a wave of his magic wand.

"Got it! Got it! It's true this time!" Chilo shouted excitedly.

"Thanks to that stupid little girl, hum -" said Voldemort. "What are you doing? Get out of here! Now!"

Chilo heard the speech and ignored the surging lake. He jumped into the water and swam towards the door. Not far away, Hermione finally sank into the water after hearing Voldemort's last words.
