Harry Potter's Book of Sin

Chapter 40

"But who's that outlaw?" Harry asked aloud. "If you're going to be cursed all your life, you'd better die, wouldn't you?"

"Yes," agreed Firenze, "unless you just use it to delay your life so that you can drink another thing. It's something that completely restores your energy and magic, something that makes you immortal. Mr. Potter, do you know what's hidden in school at the moment?"

"Magic stone! Of course, the elixir of immortality! But I don't know who it is..."

"Can't you imagine? Who has been waiting silently for so many years, eager to make a comeback... Who has held on to life and waited for the opportunity?" Firenze repeated those obvious questions.

For a moment, it was like an iron claw suddenly grabbed Harry's heart. For a moment, he couldn't even feel the pain in his lower leg. He just gasped, as if he would suffocate immediately if he didn't do so.

"Do you mean," Ha said in a low, hoarse voice, "it's lying on the ground -"

Marca didn't care what Harry said. He was with Hermione at the moment. She seemed a little bad. Her little face turned white and remained silent.

"What's the matter, Hermione?" Marca asked, looking at her.

"No, it's nothing. I just --" Hermione pressed her lips. "I just think I've read so many books and learned so much. But when I need to use it -"

"If I could use even a floating spell, Harry wouldn't be hurt."

Maka shook her head gently and whispered, "this has to be done step by step. Moreover, you should narrow down the scope of your study. At least you should learn how to choose first."

Hermione nodded. Maka had said similar words several times, but she didn't really listen to them until now.

"Well, the target has been found this time. We should go back!" Hagrid clapped his hands.

As Marka said, Harry's leg wound healed quickly. He didn't even wait until the next day. In the surprised praise, he and Hermione talked with Ron for a long time. In the lounge, Harry gave his guess that Snape's real purpose in stealing the Sorcerer's stone was to give it to Voldemort.

To this end, Harry excitedly told Hermione and Ron the discovery. Suddenly, Harry's excitement, Ron's panic and Hermione's worry were all revealed. The three began to face the end of the semester with their own thoughts.

……

The situation of examination is naturally different.

Harry, for example, has been worrying about where Voldemort will come from recently, and this speculation often disturbs him. But as time went by, it seemed that Lou Wei was still snoring unharmed behind the locked door.

For example, Hermione, she has been reviewing intensively recently - she always feels that her knowledge is not sufficiently solid, so she still recites or transcribes over and over again.

Another example is Maka. Er - he seems to have nothing to say, because his mind is not on the exam at all. Every day, we are either studying the material theory of magic medicine or stubbornly rejecting the truth.

As the days passed, the exam finally came.

Surprisingly, Maka almost missed the first exam. This is just because he still pinched the time as usual. As usual, he rushed to the classroom that should have scheduled classes on the same day before class, but he didn't remember at all. It was the day of the exam!

The time of the exam always passed quickly. Before long, the tense exam was over.

When Harry and others are relaxing in the warm sunshine, Maka has returned to the library again to continue his research. Not to mention, he has already got some eyebrows about the symbols on the volume of truth recently, and it is estimated that he will soon be able to make something out.

Because of this, he left the library after only a short time. This time, he went straight to the room where he asked for help - he had some interesting ideas to try.

While Marca was excited about her research findings, Harry and they learned some terrible news from Hagrid.

"... Hagrid, I have something to ask you. Do you remember the night you won Norbert at cards? What did the stranger you played with look like?"

"I don't know," said Hagrid carelessly. "He won't take off his cloak."

When he saw the three children's faces, he immediately showed a look of surprise and raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"What's strange about this? The pig head bar - that's the bar in the village. There are always some strange guys. That guy may be a dragon vendor. I haven't seen his face. He's wearing a hood!"

Harry plopped down and sat on the ground.

"What did you tell him, Hagrid? Did you mention Hogwarts?"

"Maybe I mentioned it." Hagrid frowned and recalled, "by the way... When he asked me what I do, I told him I was the keeper of the hunting ground here. He asked me a little more about the animals I look after, and I told him... And then I said I always wanted a Dragon."

"Later... I can't remember clearly. He kept buying me wine. Let me think again. By the way, later he said he had a dragon egg in his hand. If I want, we can play cards and gamble, but he must find out if I can deal with the dragon. He doesn't want the dragon to run out and make trouble! So I said to him, I can't even obey Lu Wei A dragon is nothing at all -- "

"Does he seem... Interested in Rowe?" Holly asked, trying to keep his tone calm.

"Yes, it's interesting - how many three headed dogs can you meet, even near Hogwarts? So I told him that Luwei is actually easy to deal with. As long as you know how to calm him down and play some music to him, he will fall asleep immediately -"

At this point, Hagrid's face suddenly showed an expression of fear and regret.

Harry, Ron and Hermione immediately got up and left. They were silent until they ran to the hall.

"We must go to Dumbledore -"

Harry walked back and forth a few steps, but he couldn't figure out how to find him. As they hesitated, Professor McGonagall appeared behind them.

"If you had to find Professor Dumbledore, he left ten minutes ago," she said coldly. "He received an urgent letter from the owl from the Ministry of magic and immediately flew to London."

"He's gone?" said Harry with great anxiety. "At this time?"

"Professor Dumbledore is a great wizard. He manages everything every day and his time is precious -"

"But it's very important!"

When Harry blurted out the word "sorcerer's stone", Professor McGonagall was so surprised that all the books fell to the ground.

"How do you know --" she stammered.

"Professor, I think, I know sney... Someone tried to steal the Sorcerer's stone. I have to talk to Professor Dumbledore!"

Professor McGonagall looked at him with a mixture of amazement and doubt. Obviously, she couldn't believe it and seemed confident in the defense measures of the magic stone.

Finally, she put down the sentence "I suggest you go outside to bask in the sun" and left in a hurry.

"Just tonight," Harry said quickly when he was sure that Professor McGonagall had gone away and couldn't hear him. "Snape was going through the trap door tonight. He got everything he needed and now cheated Dumbledore out of school. He must have sent the letter. I bet the Ministry of magic would be surprised to see Dumbledore suddenly appear."

"But what can we have -"

Hermione took a sudden breath of the air conditioner. Harry and Ron turned around and found Snape standing behind them.

"Good afternoon, little lions," he said with a sneer as he looked at them.

"You shouldn't stay indoors in this weather," said Snape, with the a twisted muscle and an odd smile.

"We were --" Harry found that he didn't know what to say.

"You need to be careful," snape said. "If you wander around like this, people will think you want to do something bad. Gryffindor can't afford to lose points, can he?"

Harry blushed at this. They turned and walked outside, but Snape called them back.

"Remind you, Potter. If you wander around in the middle of the night again, I'll fire you myself!" snape sneered. "Have a nice day."

As soon as the three came to the stone steps outside, Harry couldn't wait to speak.

"Well, we must do this now," he whispered eagerly. "A man is responsible for monitoring Snape and waiting outside the faculty lounge. If he comes out, follow him! Hermione, you'd better do it."

Hermione wanted to ask why it was her, but when the words came to her mouth, they became something else.

"Why not discuss it with Maka first?"

It can be seen that her trust in Marca is obviously higher than that of Harry and Ron.

Harry thought for a moment and felt that, perhaps as Hermione said, Marca always had some ways and was always calm about breaking the rules of the school.

But when they almost looked all over the school, they still didn't find where Marca was, which made them wonder.

"Where has Marca gone?" Ron scratched his scalp and wondered.

"Where else can he go - we've been everywhere!" Hermione wondered.

After all three hesitated for a moment, Harry made the decision.

"Let's follow the plan!" he said. "Let's separate our heads and keep an eye on Snape."
