A peerless woman could be seen tending to the myriad plants that blossomed within this quiet realm as they lightly swayed, buŧŧerflies could be seen dancing within the air, with the only building in sight was a small bamboo house that looked like one of those old houses a witch would have back on Earth, her appearance matchless…
Even though she didn't make any attempt to enhance her beauty, lacking any decorations on her body, no jewellery that one of her beauty usually possesses, and clothing that could be found on a mortal, ordinary and a pure green, making her blend with the atmosphere and the scenery.
Yun Long who was currently standing a few metres away after exiting his Vimana: Ark, was just admiring the woman within his view, even though she made no attempt to increase her beauty like a lot of senseless women, he actually preferred the look of her long hair that was sprawled over her shoulders, reaching her lower back with a white tint from the light shining upon her.
'Mn, although it is a long shot guess, judging from her azure blue eyes, the fact that she is from the Dragon God race, she is 'stuck' within the place where the Dragon God Clan threw the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword into the Well of Transmigration, it is hard not to presume she is the daughter of the Primordial Azure Dragon God…' Yun Long who lost himself in his thoughts whilst staring at her didn't notice her slight movements.
'But her connection to Creation God of Life Li Suo is a little confusing' pondered Yun Long whose soul was stuck on the image of this women, in fact he himself hadn't noticed that everything in his view no longer mattered, his vision completely focused on her appearance, blurring out the beautiful surroundings.
Yet he was startled, although he had hidden himself using the Star Concealing pill, Shen Xi had turned towards his direction, her azure blue eyes staring right into his, as he almost lost himself within those eyes as deep as the ocean itself.
Then he heard the voice of a celestial, ever so gentle, more pleasant to the ear than the sound of nature, Yun Long has heard many impactful voices, from the cold yet tranquil voice of the Ice Phoenix, to the thunderous and blood boiling voice of the Golden Crow, to the majestic and prideful voice of the Phoenix, yet such a voice made his body voluntarily relax, as if his body realised that the owner with such a voice could only be one of a holy existence.
"You have been staring for some time, how did you arrive here" asked Shen Xi in her usual gentle and aloof tone.
"Mn, like I told the others, not even the God of Space can stop me when I am looking for my women" said a cheeky Yun Long
However, Shen Xi just looked at him, before tending to the plants once more.
"Ugh, Xi'er, how can you disregard your Husband I, after all without me how would you ever get to see your precious Ling Wanhu again?" as soon as Yun Long had uttered his words, Shen Xi fiercely paused in the position she was in, trembling, her voice shakily asked "How… How do you know her name?"
However, Yun Long was tired of explaining to all these Age of Gods characters, so he simply walked over to the bamboo house and said "I came here so that you ȧssist me in cultivation".
Shen Xi slightly parted her lips however the voice of Yun Long rang out once more "Xi'er, the reason I mentioned her name is because I know that it will catch your attention, however my visit today is purely for what I stated earlier, I cannot discuss with you any information because in the original timeline, I would first meet you when I am roughly 28 years old".
Shen Xi had noticed the way he addressed her, combining it with the fact that he said 'original timeline' and how he knew that she would be distressed after hearing her best friends name, she summarised "You… are able to predict the future? … No… although there are such abilities, but you are unable to perform such deeds… you have passed through samsara?"
Yun Long just pulled out an ordinary looking silver pendant hanging over his neck, before opening it to reveal two bright and clean mirrors on each side "Mirror of Samsara…".
"Indeed, the relationship we had during the original timeline was quite odd, however I will leave that to future, just know that if you agree to ȧssist me, I have to seal your memories of me until the day I seem acceptable that it won't affect the timeline I know of" said a Yun Long who was interested in what path she would follow, would she ȧssist him like how much she had ȧssisted the original MC?
"Ling Wanhu… you must explain how you know this name, then I shall agree to your terms" said Shen Xi in her usual gentle tone.
"Actually, I learnt this name from you, it was the only thing that was able to change your emotions, everything else in the world to you was irrelevant, you were like the leisurely clouds in the sky, unstained from emotion or dėsɨrė, care for the mortal world happenings, but Ling Wanhu would get your attention" replied Yun Long in an indifferent tone
"How do you wish for me to ȧssist you in cultivation?" Shen Xi inquired, she understood that he no longer wanted to talk about such topics and could only accept that the time was not right.
"The alternate me was the successor of the Evil God, however in this life I have found a similar legacy unknown to the Gods and mortals alike, which means I have no understanding on how to start my cultivation, what I do understand is that I will need your celestial spirit dew if I wish to increase the speed that it takes to enter the profound way" Yun Long explained.
