Chapter 24 - Ice Phoenix (2)
The Ice Phoenix just digested that information for a while just sighed, slowly she sent her divine consciousness into this strange child's body.
But what she didn't expect to feel is the intense instinctual fear when she tried to peer into his body.
It was as if her consciousness had entered an infinite void, and what gave her the most fear about it was the fact that she felt had she continued to attempt to willingly move further into the void, she would've trapped herself within him without him even having the intention of doing so.
A silence occurred until she asked "What… are you?"
To which the rascal Yun Long just replied "Aiya, how can you forget your Lord Husband?"
However, after another 5-minute silence and having the Ice Phoenix staring at him, he could no longer take it, how can one win a staring contest with such a beautiful girl without trying to eat her up.
"Okay, okay, I will tell you a little story Bing'er… However, I would like for you to first view the memories I have from this life"
Mu Xuanyin and the Ice Phoenix both were surprised by the fact that he said 'this life', however she did as he requested, using her divine consciousness, she enveloped the child before entering the depths of his soul, however something startled her when she arrived within his soul.
In one corner, there was a silhouette of a young man whose features were blurred, similarly locked away in a soul prison like she was locked away in her ice prison.
When she tried to unlock the cage, she felt the most terrifying feeling she had encountered in her 5 billion years of existence, to the point she had unconsciously ran away to the other end of the domain.
Startled, she understood that there was way more to this child than she had ever expected, thus she carried on viewing the memories she could access.
Only seeing 3 years of life, although there were quite a lot of new experiences she never knew had existed within the Primal Chaos, yet it was nothing that could phase her, that was until she learnt about his Gate of Babylon.
Once she had finished she withdrew her consciousness, allowing Yun Long to return to consciousness himself before a brief silence again appeared, this time for visibly much longer than before he mentioned.
"Bing'er, do not ask me about the treasury, as I am unsure myself how I would explain it to you".
To which the Ice Phoenix just replied by looking into his eyes, her obvious way of indirectly asking 'What is going on here?'
"Actually, I am a person of two lives, in the original timeline, I would've become the direct disciple of Yin'er in around 22 years, because I had used the powers of the Evil God to dive to the bottom of the lake, which is when we first met" said Yun Long using a serious tone for once.
Finally he could see an emotion appear on the face of the Ice Phoenix, which was expected as the only people in the world who could get her to express emotions would be her respected Sir Li Suo and the Evil God.
Mu Xuanyin was even more surprised, to think that this brat would revere her as a master, which irritated her even more "Hmph, this King made you her disciple, and yet you do not even show a shred of respect to me your supposed Master... what a useless disciple" she snorted in disdain.
Surprising the both of them, Yun Long started laughing quite evilly "kukuku, Aiya... Yin'er, actually in that timeline out of all the people in the world you were easily the one I feared and respected the most, however once a man and woman engage in sėxuȧŀ relations it isn't so good to keep calling you master now is it"
"YOU… do not tarnish this King's reputation in front of Sir Ice Phoenix" however what surprised Mu Xuanyin was that she simply said, "He isn't lying", in an indifferent yet soothing voice.
Yun Long simply took of the pendant hanging around his neck and dropped it down so the both of them could see it "Mirror… of Samsara… and it recognised you as an owner" said the Ice Phoenix, stunning Mu Xuanyin.
"I will summarise my experience with you in the original timeline…"
"To make a long story short, once I had conquered the lower realm, I had been waiting to reach the Realm of Gods, because I wanted to find a women who left me there before, it was the main motivator and lead to charge recklessly into death just so I could gain power, as I mentioned lightly earlier, I was the complete inheritor of the Evil God Legacy, however in this life, whist I will still gain the legacy of the Evil God, it will not be as useful as the power I have now is far more powerful".
Using the story of the original MC, Yun Long started to swindle his way into their good books.
"I do not understand, how can there be a greater power than the Evil God" said the Ice Phoenix after digesting the information for a while, to which Yun Long just replied "Is there not an Ancestral God Realm after the Creation God Realm?"
"Continuing on, after the peaceful period where I had removed all enemies on my home planet, Mu Bingyun had arrived above the Frozen Asgard to see it one more time before she succumbed to her poison, however the hand of fate allowed her to live on as I detected her within her last moments as I used the Sky Poison Pearl to recover her injuries, before I allowed her to stay at Asgard for a few months to completely heal her, she repaid the favour by bringing me to the Realm of Gods, and after a few events I became a disciple under her Palace with Xiaolan".
Mu Xuanyin who heard the mention of her sister was extremely happy that she knew that her sister would be healed sometime in the future.
But Yun Long shut down her happiness within a moment "Hmph, do not be naïve Yin'er, this is a completely new timeline, I have already changed some events that I couldn't in my previous life, for example I met you two 22 years before when I was 'meant' to, so the only way I can ensure I can save her in the future is if you treat this information that I am saying with air come tomorrow".
