Amidst the anxious running of thousands of people, Captain Yelena and the other soldiers made their way to the two terrorists. The one remaining group were also there, pointing their guns at the two men. It\'s a relief that they still didn\'t target the people!

"Drop your guns! You\'re all surrounded and there is no way out now!" Captain Yelena shouted as she pointed the two men with her gun.

"Hey, soldier! Do you think we would be afraid to die? Then you are wrong! We won\'t come here if we are afraid!" One of the men responded with a jeer.

"Do you think we are afraid of you? You are just thugs!" One soldier with the rank of Lieutenant ranted as he was always unable to control his anger.

Too bad! His words instantly provoked the two men.

"So you are not afraid of anything? That\'s good. Then how about this!" The other one swiftly grabbed one of the people who was running just next to him. "I will kill this girl. Will you still behave like the bravest?" He said with a mocking smile as he pointed the girl\'s head with his gun.

"Please d -don\'t kill me! P -Please!" The teenage girl stuttered with fear while the man roughly grasped her on the neck with a laughter.

"No! Don\'t hurt her. Let her go!" Captain Yelena eyed the Lieutenant. "If you say even just one more word, I\'ll make sure that you pay for this." She warned him.

The Lieutenant instantly kept his mouth shut at the Captain\'s threatening tone.

"Afraid now?" The man said with a playful smile. "Drop your guns or I will shoot this girl." His face become deadly serious.

The soldiers all look up to the Captain to make the decision.

"Captain Yelena, find a way to fool them." It was Colonel Maverick\'s order from the control room.

"Drop your guns!" The Captain commanded the soldiers and they all slowly drop their guns in unison.

BANG! BANG!

Two gun shots was heard from the back side which alert everyone! The soldiers and the two terrorists briefly looked at the direction where the sound of the gun shots came from.

It was Prince Felix who shot the two fake gate duty. They were about to attack Captain Yelena and her soldiers from the back when he saw them from a few metres. So, he immediately shot them without thinking twice!

No other thing came to his mind. He only know that he must protect the one he love!

While the Prince draw attention, Yelena take the initiative to attack the two men. "Now!" She commanded and all the soldiers swiftly picked up their guns while Yelena ran forward to separate the teenage girl from the enemies. The very moment she reach the place of the girl, the soldiers started shooting.

Continuous sound of gun shots could be heard for a few seconds. The two men were immediately gunned down by the soldiers! For a very split second, they thought that they achieved victory without any casualties, until Captain Yelena spat out blood and collapsed on the ground!

It turned out that one of the terrorists managed to shot her on the right upper chest just below her shoulder! The actual target was the teenage girl but the Captain barged in the middle and shielded the girl with her own body!

The anxious soldiers ran to her as fast as they could.

"Captain! Captain!"

"Call the medics!"

"Hurry up!"

It was not long before a tall figure came running and shove away all of them. "Yelena! Yelena! Please wake up!"

Prince Felix hold the unconscious body of the woman he loved in his arms. "Don\'t leave me! I will not forgive you!" His voice was hoarse.

He desperately hugged her body and called her name again and again; but there was no response!

All soldiers including Yelena\'s team stood beside him with guilt and amazement. They hated themselves for unable to protect their Captain; while some look at the Prince\'s attitude with a confused face.

Wasn\'t he the Prince of Edeladon? Why did he behave like that for a mere Captain?

Felix was anxiously sitting next to the operation room. Though his dress was a formal one, his tie was barely hanging on his neck, his once white buttoned shirt was stained with blood and his shivered hands were bloody red.

His eyes dilated with fear. At one glance, everyone would know that the Prince was a complete mess!

When he saw Yelena lying on the ground covered with blood, the most horrendous scene which he tried to avoid many years entered his imagination.

It was not the first time he witnessed the scene of the woman he loved lying on the floor covered by blood. He experienced the same scene four years ago!

Will he lose his beloved this time as well? Just the thought of it scares him so much that the strong Prince could shivered in fear!

Standing next to him were the two members of Team Delta and his right hand man, Cayden. Lt. Morris and Colonel Maverick went to the Headquarters to report the whole situation.

"Where is my daughter?!" Mrs. Vanessa Arista came running with teary eyes. She was accompanied by her husband, Maj. Gen. Ethan Arista.

The two soldiers from Team Delta immediately approach them and salute the father.

"What happened?" Maj. Gen. Ethan asked the soldiers. He was quite compose compared to his wife who seemed like she could faint anytime.

Sgt. Calvin reported the whole story to the Major General. The father tightly clenched his fist! If possible, he would tear apart all those people who harm his daughter! But they were already dead.

"I told her many times not to join the army. But she\'s so stubborn that she never listened to me!" Mrs. Arista wailed. Her husband hold her firmly and comforted her.

She looked to the right and saw the Prince sitting next to the door of the operation room. He was so pale and lifeless that she almost failed to recognize him!

"Prince Felix?" She uttered with a bewildered face. Mr. Arista immediately looked at the direction where his wife was looking. Then he saw a haggard looking Prince.

The Prince didn\'t hear their voice at all. All his minds were occupied by the woman who was fighting for her life in the operation table! He was a bit startled when Cayden shook him. "Your Highness, the Captain\'s parents are here."

The voice aroused the Prince from his vivid imagination. He turned around his head in dazed until he saw the parents of the woman he loved. They were looking at him in a bewildered face. What an uncommon way to introduce himself!

He stand up and approach them with his weak legs. Maybe he had become weak due to the immense amount of stress in such a short period of time!

"What are you doing here? What happened to you?" Mrs. Arista scanned the Prince who had blood everywhere. "Are you injured too?" She asked him worriedly.

"No. I was at the scene. I followed your daughter here." The Prince answered. His voice was barely above whisper.

Mr. Arista realized that the young man was the Prince of Edeladon. But why was he here? He tried to ask him but his wife grabbed him on the arm, urging him to keep quiet.

"It must be so hard for you. But you should look after yourself. You look like a mess now. Why won\'t you go home first and get change?" Mrs. Arista said in a warm voice.

She already knew that this man liked her daughter and he was precious for her daughter too. So she tried to be considerate of this pathetic guy.

"I will do that later, Mrs. Arista. Let me stay until they finish the operation." The Prince asked in a low voice.

Mrs. Arista could feel the deep love this man had for her only daughter! She cannot tell him to go, especially in this situation.

"Okay then. But don\'t be so hard on yourself, Felix. My daughter is a strong woman. I\'m sure that she will survive." She reassured the Prince even though she herself was in no position to comfort him. But she somehow felt that this man needs a reassurance much more than her.....
