Chapter 35
Sebastian woke up groggily and yawned as he stretched. He quickly took a sip from his water bottle and equipped his boot's and katanas as they hanged snugly on top of each other.
The teen left his tent and took in a breath of fresh air as he walked to his group's separate tent's wanting to wake them up. The person he was closest by was Junak but when he entered the tent, he saw that Emily was cuddling Junak and they both with still sleeping.
Sebastian had a devilish grin on his face as he will use this to tease Junak later in the day.
He was about to look up on the others when a bell was rung and a person shouted.
Shouting Guy: BREAKFAST IS READY HEAD TO MAIN GAZEBO!
Sebastian heard movement behind him and saw his team still half asleep come out their tents, when Junak came out he had a blush on his face.
Sebastian: Yo Junak have a good night's sleep huh?
He smirked at the kid.
Junak: Dont.Tell.Anyone. he glared at his leader the blush was still present so Sebastian laughed and told everyone to head to the Gazebo.
When they arrived at the gazebo, they saw a bunch of other people wearing the hunter corp uniform and donning different types of weapons.
Sebastian took the lead as he grabbed a tray and looked at the food available. There was toast, hard boiled eggs, sausages, salads, and vegan friendly sausages.
Sebastian took 2 pieces of toast and 1 hard boiled egg. The rest of the team took their separate breakfast options and went to an empty table and sat down. When they started to eat, they heard a voice in front of them.
???: Excuse me I saw you guys have two seats open and wondered if we could sit here said a male voice.
Sebastian looked up to look at the two people in front of him. The person that spoke was a male that appeared to be the same age as him and was about half a head shorter than Sebastian.
He had blond messy hair and magenta colored eye's his corps shirt color was not buttoned up and it showed his neck. On his back was a gladius sword in a silver scabbard.
The person next to him was a girl that appeared to be the same age as him. She had dark brown hair that reached her shoulders, her eye color was a light blue and she wore a grey beanie on her head. She was quite short as her head was at her friends chest.On her back was steel spear that had red spiral pattern on it.
???: Thanks, I'm Dante by the way nice to meet you!
He said cheerfully.
The girl talked in a low tone.
???: Blair
May: I'm May Nice to meet you as well!
She replied back cheerfully
The group introduced them self to the pair.
Dante: So, are you guys gonna take part in the hunter corps squad selection?
Everyone nodded.
After the group talked for 15 minutes a military truck parked in front of the cafeteria and a solider climbed out.
Hunter Corp Solder: EVERYONE CLIMB IN THE TRUCKS WE ARE HEADING TO THE SQUAD SELECTION!
Sebastian's group stood up and Dante asked if they can tag along with them everyone agreed and climbed in the truck.
It took them 10 minuets to arrive when they felt the trucks stop and a voice told them to climb out. When they looked up, they saw it was a big stadium and crowds of people were inside of it.
Hunter corp Solder: The citizens like to see their new protectors so they usually come out to the squad trials. He said noticing the recruits looking at the crowd confused.
They all followed the solider inside and that's when the roar of the crowds echoed through their bodies.
???: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HEAD CAPTAIN HANZO MINOMOTO WOULD LIKE TO START THE EVENT!
The person that spoke out was a man wearing a black suit he had spiky black hair and brown eye's
???: And don't worry I commentator Tod will describe all the events that happens!
Captain Minomoto cleared his throat and stood up straight.
Minimoto: Recruits today is your day to shine! You are going to prove to us Captain's and the people of Azuka city that you are worthy of protecting the people!
The crowd roared afterword's making the stadium almost shake.
Minomoto: Now to introduce your future Captains!
Behind him came out 8 individuals.
Minomoto: The captain of Squad 8 Summer Dawn!
The captain walked forward and took a seat on a chair labeled 8. The captain was a woman that appeared to be in her 20's She wore the Hunter corp uniform except she had a captain coat on. She had light green hair that was in a high pony tail and had piercing yellow eyes that shown slightly.
Minomoto: Squad 7's Captain Tetsu Burns!
The captain was a male that appeared to be in his late 30's and had a messy goatee with a well-kept mustache. He had short grey buzz cut hair and had dark green eye's He waved at the crowd and sat on a chair with the number 7 on it.
Minomoto: Squads 6 Captain Kagaku Kenkyūsha
The captain was rather unique. He was of average height and his hair color had all the colors of the rainbow and it was sleeked back.He had orange colored eye's and in front of them was a black squared rimmed glasses. He had feathered earrings and on his hands were a ring for each finger. He gently sat on his chair and crossed his legs looking at the recruits with an unknown glint in his eyes making them shiver a bit.

The captain was a little girl that appeared to be 14 years old. She had magenta colored hair that was in two pig tail's, her eye colored consisted of shade of red. On her shoulder sat a red gecko looking at everything. She looked through the recruits and her eye's landed on Junak she sent him a wink making him blush and look away.This action made Emily glare at Love who simply giggled when seeing the intense glare from the girl.

Sebastian: Huh he said looking at her and it was true. She was currently wearing the uniform except it was the short sleeve version shirt and her captain coat hung loosely on her shoulders.

He looked at where it came from and saw it was Toge holding another rock in her hand a vein throbbing on her fore head.
Toge: This Gorilla is gonna kill you if you talk like that! She said sending him a forced smile.
Sebastian looked back her and sent her a forced smile back.
Sebastian: You just admitted you're a gorilla he then grinned in satisfaction seeing her crush the rock and send him a glare.
Love: Hey Hey Toge what's up with you and the guy? She asked curiously
Toge: Just some asshole I met yesterday she huffed and sat on her chair and crossed her arms.
Minomoto coughed in his hand and carried on again.
Minomoto: Right anyway Captain of Squad 2 Shimo Nadare

The last captain was a woman that appeared to be 21 years old she had jet black hair that rested on her shoulders. Her eye color was blood red and she had a pale skin color. She also wore the square military hat from the uniform.
Minomoto: Now that you have met your captains we are going to start to the event!
Tod: And you're probably wondering what it is well its trial through combat!
This made the crowd roar louder.
Tod: This will officially be a tournament between the contestants and afterword's the recruits will come up one by one and the captains will choose if they want that person in their squad!
Sebastian looked at all the recruits and his eyes glowed softly.
Sebastian: Lets get this over with.
