The reason why the team had to wait for 10 minutes was that the first five minutes of the DC rain was the most toxic and could instantly melt through the coats.

Sebastian: Alright, times up, put your coats on.

He said as he went into his inventory and equipped his coat.

The coat was dark grey and covered the entire body with a big hood that protected the head. Everyone else put their's on and walked out the shop. The only sound they could currently hear was the sound of rain and water splashing.

Sapphire: The Mall is about 2 km away from here, if we sprint we could make it there in 5 minutes.

Sebastian nodded and asked Rose to carry Emily as they all started to sprint towards the mall.

On their way there the group killed any ghouls that were in their way.

When they arrived at the mall they saw people from the camp base guarding the door, when the team showed up the guards opened the door for them and they saw that their DC coats had one layer removed.

When they entered they saw a few groups were not there implying that they didn't make it and the remaining teams were surrounding a big table.

Theodore: Alright, now that everyone is here we can report in.

Every Team leader gave their report including Sebastian and the man looked troubled and nodded his head while listening.

Theodore: We lost 3 teams today, right before they died they said they were going against a few mutation types and in the middle of battle it started to rain.

Theodore Sighed.

Theodore: Everyone, we are done exploring for the day get some rest and we will carry on tomorrow.

All the remaining groups nodded to him and dispersed.

Sebastian and his group found an empty corner, took from there inventory a few bottles of water and canned food and ate some before they went to bed for the night.

Everyone woke up at 4 and put on their coats and split up again looking for their main goal.

Sebastian and the others sprinted to a local hardware shop that would probably have generators; when out of a alley a shadow appeared and ran straight into Sebastian making him stop and looked down at the shadow.

It was a girl wearing a DC rain coat but under the hood he could see that she had bright green hair and pale white skin both her eyes were brown but her right pupil wasn't a normal circle it was a plus symbol and was the color of gold.

???: Please help. She said in a soft voice and panted, she'd obviously been running.

Sebastian was just about to ask her whats going on when two new voices were heard.

???:Ah there she is, finally. Said a voice, it was a man's.

???:You shouldn't run away from the grown ups. Said a woman's voice.

Sebastian looked up and saw that two people were emerging from the ally way, both had their separate weapons drawn which was an iron spear for the man and a broad sword for the woman. The teen's eyes glowed red for a second as he looked at the people.

May: Hey why are you running out in the DC rain? You should find shelter.

Man: We will ,thank your for the advice... But our friend's daughter ran off, we came looking for her and we want to bring her back with us.

The little girl's grip increased, grabbing Sebastian's clothes and she looked in the eyes of the maroon eyed teen. Said teen looked at his team over his shoulder.

Sapphire: What why? They just want their kid back.

Woman: Yeah listen to your friend and give us back the girl. Said the woman that appeared to be in her late 20s.

Sebastian didn't say anything and bent down to be the same level as the girl.

Sebastian:They are not friends of your parents are they? He said in a soft tone.

???:No..they are not... She said in a quavering tone and started to cry.

Sebastian sighed and softly pushed her into May's arm.

Sebastian: Do what your Captain orders. He said in a strict tone and turned back to the man and woman.

Everyone looked at Sebastian and nodded reluctantly. Sebastian doesn't usually pull the captain card on them, only in serious problems, they ran off to the hotel but Rose stopped and turned back to Sebastian.

Rose: Why are you trusting the girl?

Sebastian looked her in the eyes, his eyes glowed red under the hood.

Sebastian: My Danger Sense has been blaring in my ears when I looked at these two and I smelled fresh blood on there clothes.

Both of them flinched and started to laugh manically and lunged towards the teen.

Sebastian: Go now Rose! He said as he brought his sword out and blocked a downwards swing from the woman.

Rose nodded and sprinted towards the others.

Woman: Damn perceptive brat! If only you weren't here we would have gotten the girl.

Sebastian quickly moved to the side making the woman lose her balance and when she looked again she saw a fist flying straight to her and punch her in the face making her crash into the ally wall.

The man roared and started to stab his spear fast towards the teen who blocked it with his sword, quickly stepped forward and swiped downwards cutting the man across the chest.

Sebastian: They are pretty low level.

He thought to himself and was suspicious about why they would be confident and openly charge straight at him.

The man held his chest as Sebastian stepped forward and sent a power shot fueled punch into the mans stomach making him fly back deeper in the ally. He was about to follow him when his Danger sense flared up and he dodged to the right missing an attack from July swinging her sword down.

Her blade glowed blue and she sent a bunch of thrust towards the teen who blocked the majority of them but a few got through and scratched him here and there.

Sebastian used his other hand and threw a mana infused knife on the ground causing a explosion to happen which brought up a cloud of dust.

When the dust settled down it showed Sebastian standing at the entrance of the alley again and the other two panting and glaring at the teen.

Sebastian: What do you want to do with the girl?

July: We worshipers of the great god Upyr request for her presence so we could bring him to this world! She shouted.

Sebastian: Upyr? What are you on about?

Ted: He is the light which will Shepard us to the promised land and for that we need the girl! He said as he grabbed 2 syringes from his pocket and stabbed it in his chest.

Ted: With this blessing we will kill you and get the lords lost sheep!

He growled and his overall body size started to increase, his veins started to protrude, his skin started to turn to red, he looked to the woman next to him and she went on her knees next to him.

July: Brother Ted consume me to kill this heretic, I will wait for you at the promised land with Upyr!

Ted roared, bit down on her head, ripped it off cleanly and he started to eat her him getting bigger.

After the meal he turned to Sebastian and his eyes showed that he lost his sanity, his body grew twice the size of what it once was.

Sebastian used observe on the man again and was shocked.

Sebastian: What the hell... How'd your level increase 20 levels in mere minutes.

The man laughed making blood splutter out from his mouth as he lunged straight at the teen much faster than he expected and sent his fist in the teen's stomach blasting him out the alley into the main street.

He quickly recovered mid flight and threw all 6 mana infused throwing knives into the man making a big explosion.

When it settled down the man stood there still grinning but his clothes burnt off and on his chest where he stabbed the syringes in, it was pulsating and small red crystals were sticking out from his chest.

Sebastian: How did you increase your level by that much... Was it the syringe?

Said man just laughed again and brought his fist down, Sebastian quickly jumped up the arm, used it as a spring board and brought his sword down.

Sebastian:[Kaminari no kurasshu]!

His sword was coated with pure yellow lightning and he swiped downwards cleanly cutting the man's arms off.

The man cried out in pain and suddenly from his head popped out a spike and it was shot straight to the teen who quickly deflected it and didn't see the big trunk of a leg shoot forwards and kick him making him fly into a nearby building, knocking the wind out of him and giving 120 damage to the teen.

The man thought that was the end... Then he heard the sound of lightning crackling come from the now collapsed building, from the rubble emerged two dogs made out of pure lighting and barred their teeth at the man.

Sebastian stood out of the ruble, wiped the piece of building off his shoulders and looked at his cloak.

Sebastian: Dammit, down on my last layer ...I'm going to need to finish this now.

He flicked his wrist up and spoke a command.

Sebastian:Go {Lightning dogs] tear him apart

Said dogs roared, sprinted towards the man and tore parts of his flesh off as they bit him and when the man tried to hit them they just turned back into electricity and reformed afterwords.

Both of the dogs jumped up and turned into a solid lighting bolts and stabbed themselves into the man's feet making him stationary.

When he looked forwards he saw Sebastian right in front of him, his sword glowing.

Sebastian:[Mondschnitt streik]

He swiped downwards and cut the body clean in half causing a small explosion to knock him back.

When he recovered he saw the dogs changing into sparks and dispersed, showing the fight was over.

Sebastian quickly looked for the hotel, sprinted towards it and entered right when his last layer dissolved.
