Dressed up as a Real Mom

CH 40

Soon, Huang Lizhen and Li Xijin\'s husbands also came with a few children.

Xu Lanxiang asked for them to place the children at her house. Since there were already four children in her family, a group of little monkeys playing around there wouldn\'t matter.

Only Huang Lizhen\'s one-year-old daughter, who was still a baby, was held in the arms of Lao Zhang.

The women were busy in the kitchen, and the men weren\'t spared. They were forced to move the stove and water for a while. Because Wei Jianwei didn\'t have enough chairs at his house, old Wang went to his and moved a few more.

Lin Yuefei, who lived alone came last and brought a bottle of wine with him.

When Xu Lanxiang saw it, she joked, "Lao Lin is the best man, unlike my Lao Wang and the others, who came here with nothing."

Though Lin Yuefei was praised, he didn\'t dare to offend several comrades-in-arms at once, and hurriedly said, "I will drink this by myself."

Lin Yuefei jokingly laughed, handed the wine to He Xiaoyun\'s hands, and quickly moved away from the women\'s group, fearing that they would say a few more words to him, the men glaring over there would ask him to \'learn with them\' if he didn\'t.

When the dishes were ready, it\'s already noon. The adults first call the children next door to feed them, and then it was the adults\' turn to eat.

Wei Jianwei and He Xiaoyun, the two hosts, toasted everyone with the former using wine and the latter drinking tea.

"This scene is a bit like the happy day when Old Wei married his wife." Lin Yuefei joked.

"It happened that we were all absent when you got married. This glass of wine is made up. Come and drink, everyone."

Xiaoyun\'s face reddened, she put down the cup and glanced at Wei Jianwei, and said, "I don\'t know what to talk about in this scene. From now on, everyone will be neighbors. As they said, distant relatives aren\'t as good as the neighbors. I have to ask brothers and sisters to take care of me."

Xu Lanxiang smiled, "You don\'t know what to say? Isn\'t this a good greeting?"

"Don\'t be polite, call them Lao Zhang and Lao Zhao. You and Jianwei are so beautiful." Huang Lizhen covered her mouth and smiled.

Xu Lanxiang said to her: "Aiyah. Young couples that have been married for a few years have been together divorced a lot. Now, it\'s not wrong to say that they are newlyweds. All of us are old husbands and old wives."

What Xu Lanxiang said was to help He Xiaoyun on the surface, but in fact, she was still teasing her.

Huang Lizhen hurriedly responded: "Yes, sister Xu is right."

As soon as the two sang a tune, the people on the table laughed, and He Xiaoyun blushed with embarrassment.

"All right, let\'s continue eating, or else Xiaoyun is going to bury her face in her bowl." Li Xijin said.

"Now, you\'ve become a good person? Aren\'t you the one who vigorously tease someone just now?" Huang Lizhen turned to her, "Is it because your old Zhao is working under Lao Wei\'s, and you\'re afraid that Lao Wei will embarrass him. Do you feel distressed?"

Li Xiji lightly patted her, "You\'re crazy, am I crazy like you?"

The women joked and laughed while eating, and the men ate and drank.

Lin Yuefei looked left and right, everyone was in pairs, but he was alone. He couldn\'t help thinking about his wife.

After a while, He Xiaoyun and the women got up and went to the room to talk, leaving the men to continue drinking.

It wasn\'t until two or three o\'clock in the afternoon that the party ended. Everyone helped clean up the table and kitchen and then went home.

He Xiaoyun went to the next door to lead Wei Yuanhang back and coaxed him to take a nap.

Then she looked up and saw Wei Jianwei standing at the table, looking out the window, not knowing what he was looking at, she walked over and asked, "Why are you standing there?"

Wei Jianwei didn\'t answer, he turned his head to look at He Xioayun, and suddenly lowered his head, he put his forehead on her shoulder. (I found this really cute~(✿◡‿◡))

He was much taller than her. This action was a bit hard and it looked a bit funny. Fortunately, there was no one else in the house at this time.

He Xiaoyun was taken aback, her hands stretched out helplessly, neither pushing nor holding him.

Wei Jianwei had a faint scent of alcohol on his body, and the scorching breath he exhaled sprayed all over her neck, seeming to pass the smell of alcohol to her, making her red from the neck all the way to the tips of her ears.

"What do you want? Get up quickly," He Xiaoyun embarrassedly whispered.

Wei Jianwei gave a hum but he didn\'t move.

She thought it was a bit funny. Although Jianwei\'s drinking capacity was very good, the wine wasn\'t bad. He drank too much but he wasn\'t noisy at all, instead, he looked stunned more than usual, he looks cute.

But no matter how cute he is, such a big head leaning on her is a bit overwhelming.

Xiaoyun had to work hard to persuade him to go on the bed and put him to sleep.

Looking at the father and son who were lying side by side and sleeping, He Xiaoyun smiled and shook her head.

After that day, He Xiaoyun’s social interaction in the family building was completely opened. She also learned to knit a scarf from Huang Lizhen, as she heard that it will soon snow in the north. She, a person from the south, should start preparing early.

In Qingshuihe, thousands of miles away, the Wei family had just received the letter He Xiaoyun sent back.

The few letter papers written by He Xiaoyun were almost entirely dictated by Wei Yuanhang and written by her as his ghostwriter. They were full of child\'s childish speeches.

Wei Zhenxing read the letter in a strong voice, and Wang Chunhua and Feng Qiuyue both covered their mouths and laughed.

After reading a page, the head of the family really couldn\'t read it any further, and handed the letter to the younger son, "Come and read it."

Wei Jianhua didn\'t have any psychological burden at all, and even learned Wei Yuanhang\'s tone, deliberately squeezing his throat and talking with milky voice, making Wang Chunhua smile.

After reading it, Wei Jianhua still had some ideas, "I have to let my second sister-in-law write more next time."

Wang Chunhua laughed and scolded him: "Write more so that you can make trouble, isn\'t it?"

"How can I be mischievous? This is called being a ventriloquist, it\'s art!"

"It\'s a fart technique." Wang Chunhua said, turning around to discuss the content of the letter with her eldest daughter-in-law.

She took the letter from her second son and second daughter-in-law and looked at it repeatedly. Although Wang Chunhua couldn\'t understand it, she seemed to be able to see her little grandson shaking his head and talking to her through the letter, and she couldn\'t help but smile.

Feng Qiuyue hugged her baby daughter and said with a smile: "Tonight, Mom can finally sleep peacefully."

Wang Chunhua sighed contentedly.

On the other end, He Xiaofen also received the letter and went back to her mother\'s house the same day to tell her mother.

"Why did Xiaoyun send the letter to you?" Li Yuegui was puzzled.

"Otherwise, if she sends it home, you and dad won\'t understand it either."

In the He family, the parents, like others, prefer their youngest sons, but they\'re not too bad for their two daughters. They both allow them to go to junior high school. Later it was the He sisters who didn\'t want to go to school.

He Xiaofen said: "Xiaoyun said in her letter that they are all settled, the capital is very good, and her brother-in-law is also very good to her."

"She really said that?"

"Can I lie to you? Just here if you don\'t believe me, keep it until little brother comes back, let him read it to you again."

Li Yuegui said with joy: "I can rest assured, Xiaoyun and Jianwei are doing well. I can rest assured. Now I will—"

"Now waiting for me to give birth to a son, right?" He Xiaofen made up for her.

"As long as you know."

He Xiaofen said unhappily: "It\'s not like I can have a son if I say so. Others will be backed by their natal family if they have problems. If I quarrel with their family in the future, Are you not planning to accept me back?"

Li Yuegui stopped for a while, looked at her expression, and asked carefully: "What? Is your mother-in-law embarrassing you again?"

"Even if she\'s not embarrassing me, will she make me comfortable?"

Li Yuegui sighed, didn\'t speak for a long time, and then said: "Then, you could just bring the children here and accompany me."

Although Li Yuegui wholeheartedly hoped that He Xiaofen could give birth to a boy, it was for the sake of her daughter\'s happiness, and she won\'t force her.

He Xiaofen just complained casually. She didn\'t expect her mother to say that. There was some warmth in her heart, her mother still loved her no matter what.

"If I want to go home, I will come back directly, would they dare to detain me from the Zhang family?" He Xiaofen smiled, "Let\'s not talk about this. Say, the north is much colder than the south, I don’t know if she and Xiaoyuan can stand it."

The cold in the capital, He Xiaoyun felt it when she got off the train on the first day. As the days passed, it became colder and colder. She and Wei Yuanhang are now warming up around the stove.

The first knitted scarf was almost finished, but the owner of the scarf made her a little embarrassed.

Originally, she was going to knit for Wei Jianwei. After all, he needs to go out all day at home, and she\'s a beginner. Her knitted scarf is basically equivalent to practice, not very beautiful. She wants to wait to learn some tricks before weaving a better-looking one for Wei Yuanhang.

But the little kid didn’t understand her painstaking efforts. He was a little jealous when he heard that her mother was knitting for her father.

He wandered around her for the past two days, saying that when the scarf is knitted, he will grab it and refuse to give it to the original owner intended. He Xiaoyun couldn\'t help but be speechless.

"Mom doesn\'t like me anymore." The kid pouted, his mouth pursed so long that she could hang an oil bottle in it.

He Xiaoyun felt funny: "Just because I didn\'t give you the scarf, I don\'t like you anymore?"

"There\'s more," Wei Yuanhang said, "Mom said you can\'t hold me now, but yesterday, I saw you hold Dad!"

"Ahem-" He Xiaoyun was almost choked to death by her saliva.

Yesterday at noon, she was cooking soup in the kitchen. She didn’t know that Wei Jianwei had already returned. He was standing behind her. When she turned around to take a bowl, she bumped her head into his arms.

This scene happened to be seen by Wei Yuanhang, who wasn\'t seen at that time. She didn\'t expect this little kid to remember it!

Being accused of this by a three-year-old kid, He Xiaoyun was both ashamed and annoyed, she couldn\'t help but glare at the initiator.

Wei Jianwei looked at his son and thought to himself, it seems that it\'s time to have a man-to-man conversation with him.
