Chapter 19 - Three Months

Indeed, Philip had noticed a strange lack of human life force on this mountain. Wasn't there supposed to be a clan living on it? This led to his strange command out of the blue that confused all the elders. Nonetheless they did not dally and sent a swift footed warrior in the direction of the Han Clan immediately to scout the area. Meanwhile, the caravan took camp at the bottom of the mountain. Once the report on the Han Clan arrived, they would then plan their next move, which should involve which side of the mountain to settle on. As they waited the clan members all went into meditation to cultivate. The elders had already distributed the first three steps of the [Mountain Body Incantation]. They were keen to achieve Philip's targets, after all only good things could come from pleasing a God. In order to motivate the clansmen they did not give them all the five steps, instead only those who reached the third step could approach the elders for the fourth step, and then only by succeeding in that could they approach the elders for the fifth. In this way the wheat would separate from the chaff and the clan would not rear weaklings. The first three steps were more or less the same and only a small leap in power, but from the fourth step onwards there was a large gap between power levels. A [Steel bones] step cultivator could still put up a struggle against a [Bronze Skin] stage cultivator but to a [Meridian] fifth step cultivator they two were simply little kids that cant take a light slap. It was a total suppression of levels. Similarly, the currently fourth step elders could not begin to contend with the ninth step Philip. Furthermore how could Philip be cultivating anything as obvious as [Mountain Body Incantation]? The power gap was not just a few multiples. A few hours later the scout returned looking like he had seen a ghost. "Dead! All dead!" He yelled even before he properly arrived. "Calm down, compose yourself." elder Charles went out to meet the scout. His shout had also caught the attention of many clansmen and they gathered to listen in. "Clan Elder" the scout gave a bow in greeting before continuing,"Everyone in the Han Clan is dead, the whole clan is frozen over." "Frozen over." Elder Charles couldn't help but frown. Although the mountain was large and the higher altitudes had snow, it could not freeze over an entire clan. Only one calamity could cause what the scout described and it shouldn't be on this side of the ocean. "It seems the Ice Queen made a trip for the treasure." King Saito's burly voice confirmed Elder Charles' suspicions. The clansmen broke into fervent murmurs. It was a good thing they abandoned their village otherwise they would have faced a similar fate as the Han Clan. Who did not know of how unreasonable the Ice Queen was? If you even upset here mildly she would turn one into a human popsicle. Her empire lived in fear of her tantrums and did everything to keep her happy. "Since the Han Clan is vacant we shall occupy it." Philip's mild voice radiated out. Although he did not speak loudly everyone clearly heard him as if he was talking to them personally. "Prepare to head out!" Telerin yelled out. Since this mysterious Young Master had already spoken, that would be the arrangement. The four adventurers had long since noticed that it was this youth, and not his father Chief Saito, who was calling the shots. The Caravan set off yet again and utilised the mountain path that led to the Han Clan. The Worlds End Mountain was a perilous place with many a wild beast lurking in the mountain forest, but with four mighty adventurers releasing their auras there was no beast brave enough to ambush the caravan. Thus the Nyasanga Clan came to occupy the Han Clan's territory.

When they arrived at the mountain village Philip simply waved his hand and all the frost disintegrated along with all the corpses. This left a big impression on the four adventurers. The frost of the Ice Queen was no ordinary ice. It contained the power of Yin and was backed by immense Qi of a peak fifth stage cultivator. It could freeze over anything and everything and would not easily melt afterwards. Even they couldn't disperse it easily and yet this little boy...thinking up to here they did not dare imagine if he got older. All of the Han Clan's resources and structures easily fell into Nyasanga Clan's hands. They were able to settle in quickly and even gave the Han Clan Chief's house to Philip. It was a large cave in the highest position in the settlement. The Han Clan would smoothen in the cave systems on the mountainside to make their homes. For their chief it was very spacious inside and had several well furnished rooms. The position they had settled in was easily defensible and the mountain provided natural fortified walls. There was only one path in or out of the clan, through the mountain path. Philip walked into his cave and studied it quietly as he paced around. he then stopped in one of the rooms before punching into the cave wall at a certain point. The hole in the wall started to drip with water and there seemed to be a spring passing inside the mountain wall. He stomped his foot and a deep circular pit formed. With the spring water dripping into the pit it soon turned into a pool of crystal clear mountain water. The pool gave a mysterious feeling to Chief Saito and resonated with his body. "This will do, have the pool water also diverted to the elders caves, bathing in it will aid cultivation." Philip instructed before walking out calmly. At this juncture nothing the little boy did surprised Chief Saito any more, if anything he looked forward to being awed. He immediately got to work and soon after everyone was settled in. Utilising the spring water, the twelve elders cultivations rapidly ascended. It was to the shock of the four adventurers that in a mere three months the elders of the Nyasanga Clan who could barely enter their eyes, now gave them a threatening vibe.
