“Found him!”

As Zhou Kai was skimming over pairs of long white legs, the female spirit suddenly spoke excitedly.

Zhou Kai came back to his senses and asked, “Where is he?”

“The one on the left. He’s tall and he’s wearing a black T-shirt.”

When the female spirit pointed the man out, Zhou Kai saw the b*stard.

He was a tall young man walking through the crowd and making some flirtatious moves on girls from time to time. He seemed to be free at ease doing that.

However, after a closer look, Zhou Kai realized that, besides his height, he didn’t seem to be very handsome. He actually looked like a hooligan!

After sizing him up a few times, Zhou Kai looked at the female spirit. “He doesn’t seem to be considered a pretty boy. Why did you even fancy him?”

The female spirit replied viciously, “I was probably blind.”

Zhou Kai curled his lips.

He just had to know that in his heart but he wouldn’t say it out loud.

After locking on his target, Zhou Kai was about to let Little Leopard Cat make a move. However, he suddenly realized that Little Leopard Cat was grabbing the hem of his clothing and seemed to be shivering.

“What’s wrong?” Zhou Kai was somewhat startled.

Little Leopard Cat looked around in a bit of a panic and said while being on alert, “Big Brother, there is something scary here.”

Zhou Kai was dumbfounded.

That is impossible, right? How can there be such a strange thing in small Anyang? Is this still the city I know?

“Do you know what it is?” Zhou Kai asked.

While Little Leopard Cat was about to open her mouth, her gaze paused and her eyeballs seemed ready to fall out from staring. She said in a low voice, “Let’s go quickly.” Then, Little Leopard Cat pulled Zhou Kai to run away.

Zhou Kai turned around and suddenly bumped into a person. He seemed to have touched something soft and very bouncy. After having a closer look, he was stunned.

He had bumped into a woman he had only rarely seen in his lifetime.

Zhou Kai was only 1.75 meters tall.

Despite being just as tall, the woman seemed to have a perfect figure and looked quite pretty. Her golden hair was particularly eye-catching.

“Sorry.” Zhou Kai apologized awkwardly.

“He he… You bumped into me, but you’re not a human cultivator! What a peculiar human…” The tall woman, who didn’t mind, bent down as she sized up Zhou Kai with interest. Her eyes seemed to see through him.

Zhou Kai froze.

This couldn’t be the scary thing that Little Leopard Cat had sensed, right?

No matter how he saw it, the woman looked very magical.

This woman was a cut above everyone. She was a beautiful woman with big boobs, but nobody around him noticed that. The people who passed them also subconsciously walked away and seemed to regard the tall woman as an obstruction.

What…

Zhou Kai looked at Little Leopard Cat.

The little girl acted like an ostrich and covered her eyes with both hands as she mumbled that nobody could see her…

Zhou Kai’s mouth twitched as he helplessly suppressed his inner doubts. He looked at the tall woman and said with a smile, “Hello, beautiful lady.”

The tall woman responded, “I can’t even see through you. Interesting.”

Zhou Kai was about to open his mouth.

The tall woman sighed and straightened her body. “It’s a pity. If I’d met you earlier, you could have been an honored part of my precious collection by now.”

After she said that, the tall woman shifted her gaze and looked at Little Leopard Cat. “Little sweetheart, your mother asked me to give you a message.”

Little Leopard Cat, who was deceiving herself, suddenly pulled her hands back and stared at the tall woman before she said in surprise, “You know my mother?”

“I do. Your mother said that you need to leave with me,” the tall woman said with a smile.

Little Leopard Cat’s smile vanished before she said while staying on alert, “That’s impossible. My mother wouldn’t let me leave with an unfamiliar demon spirit. You’re a liar.”

The tall woman’s gaze deepened as she said, “What if I must take you away?”

Little Leopard Cat and the tall woman looked at each other as if they were in the middle of a confrontation.

Little Leopard Cat seemed to sense that something was amiss, so her expression turned ugly. She abruptly extended her hand to grab the necklace on her neck as if she was going to do something with it.

The tall woman, who was taken aback, quickly said, “Stop. I was just kidding. Don’t act rashly.”

Little Leopard Cat said with a snort, “You’re a liar.”

The tall woman curled her lips. “You’re no fun. Forget it. Listen to me. Your mother asked me to tell you two things. First, don’t leave Mount Bull. Well, I seem to have brought this message to you a little late. Therefore, I’ll tell you the second thing. If you descend from Mount Bull, be prepared to sign a soul contract with a fated human.”

Little Leopard Cat was stunned. “That’s impossible. I’m still really young. How can I sign a soul contract? Is my mother disowning me?”

The tall woman laughed. “I’m not sure about this. I’ve brought you the message and returned the favor. Consider this my labor fee, little glutton.”

Then, the tall woman suddenly extended her hand and grabbed the female spirit.

When the woman had appeared earlier, the female spirit had started trembling and had not dared to move. Since the tall woman had grabbed her, the female spirit let out a scream. “Spare me, spare me!”

The tall woman, however, ignored her and stuffed the spirit into her mouth.

Zhou Kai, who wanted to speak, swallowed back his words when he saw the woman open her mouth and chew off her head. Her teeth were as sharp as knives.

She was not a human indeed!

Amid cracking sounds, the female spirit was bitten in half by the tall woman, who was clucking and chewing deliciously.

As the tall woman ate, she looked at Zhou Kai and said with a smile, “You don’t want me to eat this vengeful spirit?”

Zhou Kai forced a smile. “No, eat it if you want to.”

The tall woman took another mouthful and ate away the female spirit before she said with a smile, “Not bad. She’s a seedling that has entered the Dao.”

Then, the tall woman turned and left.

At that moment, Zhou Kai unexpectedly discovered a long braid behind the tall woman’s back that was like a snake swimming around behind her. It looked creepy to Zhou Kai.

“Big Brother, stop looking at it. She was helping you just now.” Little Leopard Cat suddenly spoke at that moment.

Zhou Kai looked at Little Leopard Cat blankly, feeling puzzled.

Little Leopard Cat said, “Big Brother, that female spirit was lying to you just now.”

Zhou Kai was stunned. “Lying to me? What did she lie about?”

Little Leopard Cat said, “She tricked you into helping her harm someone. I actually planned to tell you at the last moment so that you could experience the insidious and scary nature of a spirit. I didn’t expect this thing to appear.”

Zhou Kai was still confused. “We seemed to be helping a spirit harm people, but this is considered revenge, right?”

Little Leopard Cat shook her head and responded, “That’s not the case. Half of what it said was true, and the other half was not. Perhaps, this guy was truly in the wrong, but he didn’t kill the female spirit. She died by accident and placed the blame on anyone but herself. That’s why she wanted to take revenge maliciously. In other words, spirits are inhuman.”

Zhou Kai was speechless.
