Chapter 3：Girl meets Boy (and Shadow-being)

"Now approaching Crimson Avenue Station!" The Monorail announced as I was in thought. My name is Lily Wright, a Senior at Crimson Preparatory School. I'm currently on my way to school like any other day usually I'm deep in thought while riding the Monorail but today I just couldn't think well. "Crimson Avenue Station, This is Crimson Avenue Station!" I heard as began to get off the Train, most students rode the bus to school but my home was far so i usually ride the Monorail, not many students do as this City is usually dangerous to be in alone. I began to ride the escalator down to ground floor when I see Young man with a Map of Burgerton. He wore a tan tattered coat with the left sleeve torn off and bandages on him right elbow. I contemplated on helping as i thought he was just a homeless person but finally decided to help him. I walked up behind him "Hey Mister!" I said as he jumped, I guess he wasn't expecting help, I saw his face and he looked really young, maybe one to two year older than me. "Please don't sneak up on me like that school girl, what do you want?" The man angrily questioned me about, "You looked lost so i thought i could help in anyway possible." I answered softly trying not to tick off the man even more. "hmmm, i guess i could use some help from a local, look here." He ordered at me, "I need to find Fourth Street.", He didn't seem to be in any sorta rush when i met him so i decided to guide him. "So you go forward and then take the first left, continue on and make sure not to miss the Ice cream shop, then make a right and you're there." I said, he thanked me and went on his way, i guess he was new to Burgerton.
10 minutes have passed, I continued walking to school but decided to take a shortcut through a alleyway, as I began to walk through it I has a weird feeling like something bad was gonna happen, just then i see two thugs in front of me, I turned around and two food people thugs as well, one was a Cookie person and Another was a Macaroni person. "Hey Lil miss, looks like you made the wrong turn." One of the Thugs said trying to intimidate me, "give us your money and any valuables on you and we'll consider letting you go free." The Cookie thug said to me. Although I look like schoolgirl with a rabbit ear headband on, they didn't know I was a martial arts master, I began to rush towards one of the thugs and knocked him to the ground, but just then one of the food thugs grabbed me from behind and had me pinned, "oh man, you're really gonna pay now girly!" The Thug that i knocked down said as he pulled out a switchblade but just then a voice could be heard, "Hey!" The Voice yelled out.
