The golden leaves of the immortal tree shook suddenly. The man opened his eyes and slowly the dust that fell over his body crumbled down as he tried to stand up.

''Its been so long since you became happy last time. Uhhh my old bones. This time I hope it survives. I don't think I can wait much longer. Is it possible to bear a couple of fruits? It seems they are in the same place. When the time comes the last pair of immortal fruit will be given to them. It is time that two of us leave. Isn't it?''

He gently stroke the golden bark and smiled. ''Let's hope this child survives. If not the whole planet will be doomed with extinction. This planet is truly hard to live on.Sigh.''

He turned his head as he looked down from the tallest hill at the walls of clouds in front of him.

He hopes the child really lives until full age. Then he can gift it the fruit of wisdom and eternal life.

Reneé sat on the floor of a cave very far away from Thierry. She spoke a couple of days ago with Teatind about his laziness to expand his powers, as he was concentrating only on her. She chooses to cause this argument with no reason for his own good.

She misses them all, but she also knows that they will visit her sooner or later.

''Stop thinking!''snapped at her the voice from close proximity.''Seriously stop thinking and just concentrate only on one energy if you want to train. If you do it like last time, you might cause your own body to get hurt.Concentrate.''

''I understand. I will do what you said. But you have to tell me which energy I should train first.'' she answered as she looked at the sea of energy that had so many colors inside.

''Lets first start with air. Air will make your body lighter. If you train it well you will be able to float. After you are able to fly change to water. I will go now and get some food. Continue without me. I will be back by sundown.'' but those words were not heard as she already went into her sea and tried to connect the air energy with her own body.

He looked at the tiny human that had millions of small treads around her. He was seriously confused. How is it even possible to gather energy the way she did it. Dragons just accept energy and compress it, but her body is different. She doesn't compress energy. She gathers it and let it float inside her body.

And one more amazing thing. She can eat more than him. How is that possible. That child is so tiny but can eat almost twice as a big dragon like him. Where does that food disappear?

He was amazed and he wondered why. He never heard that anyone with her powers in the past had such appetite. Luckily this world is big enough and has enough food. And she ate vegetables as well, so it was no problem feeding her. For now... But in the future?

''I have to find her. That old dragon can't feed her properly. She doesn't like to eat so many things. If she gets sick, what to do. She is human after all. What if...'' He got smacked again.

''Are you trying to kill her? If you are around her and constantly nag do you think she will be able to expand her powers? If she can't do that she will die from old age. But if she succeeds, she will get a gift of longer life and she can live much much longer.''

''She can live longer?''Thiery felt reassured from the old Kings words.''If that is the case then I will let her be and let her grow her powers.''For those words he got light knock on his head.

''You are talking about her, but what about you? If she gets stronger, do you even have the right to follow her? If you are too weak to become her strength, at least don't become her burden. Start getting stronger as well. I have to tell you. I went to visit that child. And she is already almost twice as strong as you are.''

Hearing those words made Thierry getting inspired by Renneé. If she can do it he will as well. His determination flared up again and he started concentrating on his energy sphere. He will become strong enough so he can stand by her side.

''Now use the dark energy and try to mix it with light energy before compressing...''The old King started explaining to him how to concentrate.

It seems that there are so many different energies that could be used to gather. But for now, he was given a task to gather only the light and darkness. He has to combine them and compress on end.

It was easy gathering energies, but combining and compressing seemed to be quite hard.

''Don't rush. You have to let it be stable before letting it to enter your power pearl. When you start combined it,try merge it into one energy." The old dragon slowly explained. "After you merge it into one energy, compress it slowly as that energy is quite strong and unstable in same time."

Thierry was in deep concentration. He slowly connected one end after another.

What he didn't know was while he was doing that days and weeks passed by him.

The wedding of little officer and the princess hit the country. Some taught that the story was quite cute and romantic. But there was many that felt it quite strange.

A mere little guard had high vision and tried to bite more than he deserved. Even the King was not satisfied. But after noise from both mother and daughter, he just accepted it.

"You will be married to him in few weeks. Are you sure your decision? Once you are married to him I plan to send you both to the far place. I will give him the city to manage for a while. If he prove himself I will give him better position. But if he makes mistakes he will turn back into a soldier and you as his wife will have to live from what he earned. I have no plan supporting you financially. Do you understand?"

He already have forbidden the Queen to support them financially as well. They need to live together from now on.

Some might think he was cruel,but he actually is trying to give them way to prove themselves in front of those that are against their marriage.

If they can finish successfully the task he will be able to take them back to the capital and give him better position where she can live comfortably.

If they make mistakes he will give him position of small soldier and let them experience unity ad they learn to work together.

Even then he plans to support them. He sighed. He didn't think to much of his son in law. He tried to explain to him ,but it seems that he had to much expectations from this marriage.

He smiled sarcastically and looked at her. "But if he tries having strange ideas,he will loose his head and you will become a widow. "

She was unwilling. "But father..." she suddenly felt coldness creeping up her spine. Her father look gave her creeps. Since her birth she was always pampered, but now that she is about to marry someone she loves he stopped loving her.

"Father, if you hate him so much we will stay forever out your sight." she spoke stubbornly.

"If you think that way,then I will accept your choice. Let's do it you way." he was enraged. She didn't appreciate his tries.

"Listen to your father. He means it good for you,child." The Queen came slowly. She knew her husband and she understood his mind."He is just trying to give him a hand so you can come back with straight back. He can give him better position after he manage the town properly. Don't be foolish. If that man have eyes set on throne I will personally cut his head off."

They still had three older children that had more rights before her turn. Her oldest sister is to be crowned as Queen . After that she has two brothers before it could be her turn.

But to do that, they will have to die. If that man has his eyes set on power of throne and does something to harm any of her children, she will personally cut him into peaces.

The princess got stunned buy the darkness and murder that emanated out her mother.

She didn't try to understand their tries to make her life easier. The only thing she saw is two people that wanted to harm her beloved.

She was disappointed in her own parents. She couldn't understand why they seemed to dislike him so much.

What she didn't know is that they got report about his doings lately. He stirred the waters and did atrocities in the red district.

She hopes that after he goes far away and start working he might give up his ways.

They tried to persuade her to give him up bit she stubbornly held onto the only man that they disliked.

If she turns against her own family for that man,they will give up on her.

But his power was deeper than they taught...
