Well after a few dates with the twins before the regional cup I was looking at the combat schools in Mistral they are Sanctum which Pyrrha attends, Seiiki (meaning sanctuary), Asylum, and Refuge Academy. There a number of opponents that I'm interest in from the information I gathered before hand aside from Pyrrha and I hope my first match is interesting.

( The start of the Mistral Regional Cup)

Male Announcer: Good afternoon Mistral I will be your master of ceremony Kurogane this time around for the Mistral regional cup. We have a grand total of 32 participants the rules are the same as before one on one fights, if you let your aura to low or run out you lose, now all the matches will be randomized. Lets see who will start this tournament...

The arena hosting the regional cup is right in upper Mistral with cliffs surrounding all sides with seating carved in to the cliffs and the ring is a octagon shape stone floor.

Kurogane: The first match is Hirogane Ao vs... Silva Cloud, well this an interesting match up the previous winner of last years cup against a special seed from lower Mistral. Particpants please report to the arena to start the match.

Well I wanted my first match to be interesting it like I got my wish, as I made my way to the ring I saw Ao, he has a long blue hair ponytail with steely gray eyes plus a really fair complexion. He wore a dark blue cloak with a yellowish metal c.h.e.s.t plate along with black pants and brown combat boots. Using Echo Tremor's sonar I found out that his weapon a machine gun with a circular saw attached to the front and that he's hiding some knives in his cloaks sleeves. Ao spoke out with arrogance and disdain filling his tone.

Ao: So my first victim is a lowly animal from that cesspool no less, do yourself a favor and back out without wasting my time.

Okay lets see if this guy has the skills to back up that talk, I drew my revolver and loaded it with explosive fire dust bullets.

Kurogane: The match will start in... 3... 2... 1... BEGIN!

Ao aimed his weapon at me, before he could even take the first shot I already fired 2 one for his gun barrel because my sonar not only detects my surroundings but allows me to read the trajectory of my shots and enemies giving me deadly accuracy. The first shot exploded pushing him back the next sent him in the air and I fired the rest of my shots at him making him go higher in the air. After my sixth shot which was my last I quickly reload then fired a shot at the ground making a giant spike of earth pop out from the spot he's going to land. He slammed against the spike then got up to fire his weapon at me but it exploded because my first shot warped the barrel making it literally back fire on him. Disoriented he staggered to get back up I fired my last five shots at him aiming at both his eyes, c.h.e.s.t, and 2 for the crouch. This made his aura meter go in the red ending the match and knocking him unconscious, well that was disappointing. The arena was silent enough to hear a pin drop then I actually heard Melanie and Miltia cheering for me, well more Melanie then anything because Miltia was clapping.

Melanie: YOU SEE THAT, THAT IS MY BOYFRIEND SILVA CLOUD FUTURE WINNER OF THE CUP!!!

Kurogane: I... I can't believe it Silva Cloud won in less then a minute against Hirogane Ao this is unreal.

I just shrugged my shoulders then made my way out of the arena, I hope my future matches aren't so anticlimactic well whatever lets get a bite to eat.

( Outside of the Arena)

Well one nice thing I like about this tournament so far is that there food stalls from all over Mistral around the arena I was eating at stall that served yakisoba I got a spicy seafood flavor one. As I was eating the twins walked up to me and Melanie had a look proud on her face that made you think she won against Ao not me. While they didn't order anything they sat on both of my sides not bothering me when I heard an angry shout directed at me it was Hirogane Ao.

Ao: YOU WORTHLESS ANIMAL YOU CHEATED I DEMAND A REMATCH NOW!!!

I replied coolly without looking at him.

Silva: Do yourself a favor and back out without wasting my time.

Realizing that I threw his own words back at him Melanie giggled while Miltia had a light smile and Ao only got angrier then grabbed my shoulder. As he was about to punch me I grabbed his wrist then debated whether or not to break it as I apply pressure but decided against it because I don't want to get disqualified for fighting outside of the arena. After I let him go he massaged his then noticing the twins next to me then with a sneer he said.

Melanie looked ready to tear him to pieces while Miltia looked displeased with him I stopped the two then said with a smile.

Silva: He's right why don't you girls show him the good time he deserves.

I looked into both their eyes, they got the message and both of them now had a wicked grin on their faces. They got up from their seats and grabbed one of Ao's arms each then dragged him off while he looked like he won one over me with a smug grin. I chuckled at him without a ounce of pity for he's going to regret annoying the twins big time and I went out to find other food stalls to kill time.

After a couple more food stalls I was starting to get full so I was looking for something sweet for desert and I found a stall that sells mochi I got the last of it which was a variety pack that had green tea, red bean, strawberry, and plain flavors. Then I heard a female crestfallen voice.

???: Oh no your out, is there really no more?

I turned around then saw the girl that I was hoping to meet Pyrrha Nikos, her red hair tied up in a pony tail along with her green eyes plus her snow white skin. Her outfit was light brown with golden highlights corset that covered her torso and neck along with a medium length red skirt accented with a dull gold chain belt. She was wearing dark red gloves with gold armlets on each arm and t.h.i.g.h high high heel boots of the same color as her gloves making her 5 feet 6 inches. Well lets be nice, I said to her.

Silva: Um, hello if your wanting some mochi I got the last of it you can have it if you want.

Pyrrha looks at me then politely refuses.

Pyrrha: Oh I couldn't possibly but thank you for the offer.

Silva: Then how about sharing it then because I'm starting to get full, oh by the way name is Silva may I know yours?

Pyrrha: My name is Pyrrha Nikos and its nice to meet you but I can't take you up on your offer but thanks.

This girl is really stubborn then lets play a trick on her.

Silva: Your name is lovely but can I ask you to hold out both your hands if isn't to much trouble.

Pyrrha: Sure no trouble at all.

She placed her hands out I then put the mochi in her hands then turned tail and run then said.

Silva: Bye.

Pyrrha stood there for a moment to process what happened then shouted giving chase.

Pyrrha: WAIT COME BACK HERE I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS.

( An hour of running later)

I have to give props to Pyrrha she managed to keep up with me despite my best efforts to lose her but she really is too bull-headed for her own good. I stopped running in the middle of upper Mistral's market street then turn to my pursuer then spoke exasperatedly.

Silva: Has anybody told you your pigheaded though it is fun having a beautiful girl chase me.

Pyrrha stopped in her tracks unsure on how to take what I said, while she was making up her mind I spoke to her again.

Silva: If your that determined to give the mochi back then follow me for a bit.

I walked off then Pyrrha soon followed right behind me after we got to some empty alley ways I then summoned a Nevermore and mounted it then I told Pyrrha to hop on. Pyrrha was stunned but didn't ask any questions as my summon took flight the girl held on to it's feathers for dear life at first then got use to flying. We reached a near by mountain that over looked most of Mistral after landing on top I took a seat on a rock then made my summon disappear, I spoke to Pyrrha.

Silva: Now you have 2 options you can either share the mochi with me here as the sun sets or I leave you here your choice.

Pyrrha just looked at me with her mouth hanging at the brazen choices I gave her, after a few moments she asked.

Pyrrha: Why..? Why do all this?

Silva: At first it was because I thought you were beautiful then seeing how you refused my offer I noticed that you were nice as well and after chasing me half way around upper Mistral I decided that I wanted to get to know you better. I'm I being to forward?

Well that isn't the whole truth but I can't say that reincarnated and already know a lot about her. I waited to hear Pyrrha's answer after a few minutes she took a seat across from me then said.

Pyrrha: Well what do you want to know?

After asking her some questions then encouraging her to ask me some, time passed by quickly as the sun started to set I offered to fly her back to the place she's staying at she accepted but I couldn't help but poke fun at her.

Silva: At least you agreed this time I was worried that I have to twist your arm with how stubborn you can be.

She blushed a little out of embarrassment but didn't comment. After dropping her off at the droms at Sanctum Academy and on my way back I spotted Melanie and Miltia with a lot of shopping bags with no idiot following them. I ran up to them smiling then asked.

Silva: Hey Melanie, Miltia, looks like you had fun, wheres that poor fool now?

Melanie smirked then said.

Melanie: That beggar couldn't even buy half of what we wanted after ringing him dry he just stood around like a statue so we left him.

Miltia: So what did you do while we were shopping?

I told them about Pyrrha and the chase plus sharing the mochi with her on the Mountain top. Hearing me out Melanie frowned and said.

Melanie: You were off flirting with another girl while your girlfriends were taking a guy for a ride, some boyfriend you are.

I replied with a small smile.

Silva: Who was it that said that this relationship isn't real?

Melanie didn't comment on my reply but stomped off in a huff as we were near Lil' Miss's tavern then Miltia said in a displeased tone.

Miltia: Silva you shouldn't tease Melanie to much because she does like you.

I wryly replied.

Silva: I know but I can't help but think she looks cute when she's fl.u.s.tered, being shy, or jealous so I want to tease her but please rein me in if I go too far.

Miltia smiled then said.

Miltia: Sure and I agree with you that she does act cute. By the way I have something for you so does Melanie but you scared her off.

As Miltia digs out a small box then opens it revealing silver locket with a tiger eye stone embedded on it, I then commented.

Silva: So you used a guy who hates my guts to buy me a gift with his money.

Miltia smiled then nodded as she did I couldn't help but laugh out loud at that, Miltia then said.

Miltia: Silva you plan on leaving Mistral after the tournament right so this is something to remember us by so don't lose it okay.

I picked up Miltia then kissed her and told her good night then shouted at the top of my lungs at Melanie.

Silva: GOOD NIGHT MELANIE SEE YOU TOMORROW.

I walked off to my apartment thinking how lucky I am while holding the locket in my right hand.
