A Lucky? Dude Journey

Chapter 73 - 69 - Offline meeting.

Chapter 69

Today was the day of the celebration for our guild successful defense and becoming the first-ranked guild in Japan. Ishigami and I currently in Tada's cafe waiting for our guild members to arrive.

Because most of our members except Ishigami and I live in Tokyo, the celebration will be held in Tokyo. I also reserved a private room in my newly opened branch restaurant in Ginza for that reason.

This time I didn't choose the seats on the counter but the table behind it because more people would come.

"How is it, Yuu. The coffee here was very good right?" I take a sip the coffee and asked.

"Yeah, my father will definitely like this." Ishigami nodded approvingly and said.

"Regardless, is it fine we used the private room at your restaurant for free, Izumi-senpai?" Ishigami asked.

"Obviously, I already reserved it a week ago anyway." I casually answered.

Ishigami and I casually chatted about the game while heartily enjoying the cup of coffee in front of us. Today Tada was alone serving the guest for the morning. It seems Teresa was back in her country for an important matter, and Tada's sister will help him in the coffee shop later.

While we were talking, the door opened as the bell rang and someone came into the coffee shop. It was a beautiful young woman appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side and silver eyes, just like Luci.

Even though we still didn't know if she was really Luci, we were 80% sure she is her. Ishigami and I were stunned by her appearance that just looks like her game avatar. I thought I was the only who confident enough to use my real face on the game avatar.

The woman looks at us and widened her eyes when she saw me.

"Luci?" As the young woman went inside the coffee shop, I asked.

"Kizu?" The woman who was confirmed to be Luci asked.

"Yes, it's me. Well, how about you sit first and order anything you like." I smilingly said.

"I will do so, thank you," Luci answered with a smile. Then she ordered the special coffee and sit in front of me.

"Whoa, you really are Luci. I can't believe you use your real appearance for your avatar." Ishigami said with an amazed expression.

"I was a bit surprised about it too as there is someone who confident enough to use their real face. You look more beautiful in real life, though." I said and casually praised.

"Hehe, thank you. You look more handsome in real life too, Kizu. At any rate, it's not like people would earnestly believe if you saw someone with silver hair and blue eyes in a game was their real face. I don't say there isn't but they were rare." Luci said with her cheek reddened a bit then explained.

"At any rate, let's introduce ourselves first. My name is Kitahara Izumi also known as Kizu. I am a high schooler and pianist." I introduced myself with a gentle smile.

"My name is-" Before Ishigami able to properly introduce himself, Luci interrupted him.

"I know, Kitahara-sama. I actually love classical music, so there is no way I don't know you. Also, I am a fan of you. That's why I am a bit surprised when I saw the real Kitahara Izumi was actually my master." Luci said with a smile.

"Oi! I haven-" Ishigami was about to introduce himself again and I interrupted him.

"It's an honor having a beautiful woman like you as a fan. And please stop with the –sama, you can call me Izumi." I smilingly said.

"But, you are my master, though?" Luci said with a teasing smile.

"*Chuckled* Can't be helped then. But please use my first name instead. Yare yare, what a faithful maid I have." I answered jokingly.

"Neeee, can you two stop flirting and let me introduce my self!'' Ishigami desperately said.

"Hahaha" Luci and I laughed hearing Ishigami complain.

"My name is Ishigami Yuu. A middle-schooler of Izumi-senpai." Ishigami introduced himself.

"Okay." Luci curtly answered.

"Just that?! Senpai, please tell your maid to treat me more warmly..." Ishigami said with a gloomy expression.

"Hahaha. Her treatment toward you was better than her treatment towards a stranger, though. Don't worry, I think she at least thinks of you as a friend. Anyway, it's your turn now, Luci." I said.

"My name is Grayfia Lucifuge, an OL and a maid of Kizu," Grayfia said.

"But senpai...her treatments toward you were just like that of a maid or devoted wife..." Ishigami resignedly said in a low voice. Naturally, even if Grayfia didn't hear it, I heard it clearly but decided to ignore his remarks.

Normally in an offline meeting like this people won't be that as close as in the game at first, but looks like it was not the case for us.

I, who smoothly talked about anything and even a bit flirted with Grayfia, Ishigami who gets verbally bullied by Grayfia and Grayfia who responded to my flirt and verbally bulled Ishigami. It was a pleasant atmosphere just like in the game.

While we're talking merrily, one by one member of our guild came. The first one who came is two high school girls who are our healers their name is Yumi and Kanako. As expected when they saw me they recognize who am I and asked for a photo and sign their smartphone case which I accepted.

Looks like they didn't hide their love for the game to their classmates and even do a good job as normies. Good thing they didn't act like a fanatic. Nonetheless, they looked very happy when I take a selfie with them. I told them they can act familiarly with me since we are a comrade in the same guild.

The next person who came is our paladin who is a normal high-school boy you can meet anywhere. He was very polite, though. His name is Jimi Yamazaki.

Then a tanned guy came into the coffee shop, he was Gal Gomes. He said he was a Brazilian who born in Japan and currently a high schooler. That's likely why the pun from Gilgamesh becomes Gal Gomes as Gomes was his actual name.

"So only Ramcha, who has not come, huh..." I said.

"Maybe he was embarrassed coming to an offline meeting because he looks like a trap?" Gal Gomes jokingly said.

"Hahaha, that might be the case. He even changed his voice." Ishigami laughingly said.

"I'm actually quite surprised to hear Ramcha-san using a voice changer," Kanako said.

"What if Ramcha-san actually a girl?" Grayfia tilted her head and said.

"No way that's impossible! He is someone who used Yamcha's pun as role play, you know?" Ishigami laughingly said.

"You are so rude, Ahoven-san. I just wanted to try that kind of roleplay." While Ishigami and Gomes are laughing a girl went inside and said with cold anger.

The girl has long straight black hair neatly cut at the forehead in a hime-style, white skin, sleepy blue-grey eyes, and a birthmark under her left eye. She dressed in a white frilly top with a black bolero worn over it. She also wears a black skirt with a cross-shaped design and black Mary Janes with gray stockings.

"...A-are you Ramcha...?" Ishigami widened his eyes and asked.

"Yes." Ramcha nodded and shortly answered.

"The whole world is a lie... I can't believe Ramcha was actually a cute gothic-loli girl..." Gal Gomes despairingly said.

"Haha... Well, how about you sit first and introduce yourself, Ramcha-chan." I said with a gentle smile.

"That voice...Understood, Kizu-san." Ramcha said with a smile then she sits in the vacant seat next to Kanako.

"That's unfair! Why did you treat Izumi-senpai differently?" Ishigami protested.

"That's right, that's right! It must be because of the face!" Gal Gomes instantly added.

"It is true he is handsome. But, besides that Kizu-san was gentle you know." Yumi said.

"And he is not annoying." Kanako nodded and added.

"He is not rude like you two," Ramcha added.

"And he saved me from hollowness." Grayfia also added with a smile.

"...Okay, even though I got lightly teased sometimes, I can never deny those things you said." Ishigami resignedly said.

"*Sigh* I guess we lost, Ishigami-aniki." Gal Gomes patted Ishigami's shoulder and said.

"Haha... At any rate, please introduce yourself, Ramcha-chan." I smiled wryly and said.

"My name is Gokou Ruri, a middle-schooler sophomore. Nice to meet you, everyone."

After Ruri introduced herself, we also told her our name because it wasn't good to call our game nickname in real life and the other way also.

"To tell the truth I already reserved a private seat in my restaurant so, let's go there. Because we take too much space in this coffee shop." I said.

"Whoa! The famous restaurant! I'm glad I attended this offline meeting." Jimi said with a joyful tear in his eyes.

"It's fine, Kitahara-sama. The signature you gave me already enough for that, my sister will be happy. Besides, the other guest hasn't come anyway." Tada said with a smile.

"Still, we already reserved a seat there, so we're going to excuse ourselves. Here is the payment, see you, Tada-san." I paid for the bill and said.

Then we went to my restaurant and continue our offline meeting enthusiastically. Even though Ruri was quite shy at first, after a while, she was able to get close to everyone like in the game. In the end, the celebration was finished in the evening because Ishigami and I need to get back to our town.

We exchanged our contact and made a group on the Line, so we can exchange any information about the game or just chat casually. Also, we can stay in contact even if the game change.
