Chapter 64

It was two weeks after Ishigami incident. When his one week of punishment finished, his classmates apologize to him one by one except one student, Ootomo Kyouko.

Someone told him Ootomo felt guilty about yesterday and feels doesn't have any face to ask for forgiveness. Hate or not Ishigami still saves her from Ogino after all.

When I asked Ishigami does, he likes Ootomo he answered, "No way. I just feel like she was kind enough to greet the loner me. So, I don't a kind girl like that got hurt."

He also doesn't hate Ootomo even after all of that. It's because, in the end, he was the one who willingly chooses to do that. So a week passed since his punishment end, and right now I was in Ishigami's house with Miyuki-chan playing ps4 together.

"Come to think of it, have that girl says anything to you? Oh, look there is a treasure chest, Miyuki-chan!" I casually asked then said while pointed at the screen and said.

"That's true! Hope we got estus shard because I want to add another estus flask before the boss fight." Miyuki answered and moving the character toward the treasure chest.

"She already did. But she also said she will never like me. Not that I care, though. I already have friends anyway. HAHA! It's a mimic you fool!" Ishigami casually answered then laughed when Miyuki's character got eaten by a mimic.

"Aaaa! Oh, I haven't died yet! Roll back, roll back!" Miyuki said while hurriedly clicking the joystick.

"She really is a foolish girl, huh. Good thing you didn't like her, right?" I said.

"I know, right. Pfft, you're really bad at the game, Miyuki-senpai. You should just fight the mimic rather than died while rolling back." Ishigami laughingly said.

"*Sigh* How can you clear this shitty game..." Miyuki sighed and said.

"It's with perseverance and determination of course." Ishigami wisely said.

"What are you two talking about? It's easy." I tilted my head and said.

"No, Izumi-senpai. Your luck and intuition were just too perverted to avoid every attack. You even knew what kind of attack can't be avoided..." Ishigami said with a resigned tone.

"Completely agreed." Miyuki nodded affirmatively and said.

"Haha... Oh right, Yuu. Do you have a recommendation for MMORPG? I wanted to try playing that kind of game." I asked.

"Good question, Izumi-senpai!" Ishigami answered delightedly then stand up and went to his PC.

"How about this game, Enigma Online. In this game, you can make an avatar face based on your looks in real life or just create it to fit your preference. For that reason, many people played to search for a partner. And-" Before Ishigami finished his explanation, I interrupted.

"Don't tell me you play that game because of that too?" I smirked and asked.

"Uwaa... Really?" Miyuki, who heard it said while looking at Ishigami weirdly.

"... No way! I played this game because the feature was quite good. You can even be the king of a country and held war to another country." Ishigami denied after thinking for a bit then explained.

'He definitely thought about it..' I thought then I looked at Miyuki who likely thinking the same thing as me.

"Hee... That's interesting, I guess I would try it. How about you, Miyuki-chan?" I asked.

"I don't have time for that because of my part-time. Today was just weird the manager suddenly said it's fine for me to get a holiday after you invited me to come here." Miyuki answered.

"It's just me then. You should help me, Yuu." I said.

"Definitely, Izumi-senpai. I'm already level 70 while level 100 is the max." Ishigami proudly said.

"Good, what a reliable Kouhai. At any rate, it's already evening so let's go home, Miyuki-chan." I nodded appreciatively and said.

"Aa, I also need to study after all," Miyuki answered.

"Then see you at the game, Izumi-senpai." Ishigami smilingly said.

When I got back home, Nanaka was in the kitchen preparing for dinner. Kaori is in the living room watching a comedy program on TV. It seems Shiori has not come back from her modeling job, most likely she would come back before dinner.

I went to my room and downloaded the game on my PC. Because the size was relatively big, I leave it while having dinner. While waiting for the dinner to serve and Shiori coming back, I watched the comedy program with Kaori. Not long after that, Shiori arrived, and we have dinner together.

"A letter arrived when you are at Ishigami's house, Izu. Guess what! I got an invitation to perform at Towa Hall, Izu! Can you be my accompaniment?" Kaori excitedly said and asked.

"Of course, when is it?" I smilingly said.

"It's on October 5th. I will perform four songs there." Kaori excitedly said.

"Good, don't worry about the music sheet. I will match every melody you made." I confidently said.

"Yay! I love you Izu!" Kaori, who sits beside me, hugged me joyfully.

"Fufufu, good for you, Kaori-chan," Nanaka said with a smile.

"Then I will take a day off to watch that together, right Nanaka-san?" Shiori said.

"Of course, let's bring Chisa too," Nanaka answered.

Dinner finished while we're talking merrily. After that, I went to my room to check the download. Good thing it's finished. Immediately I install the game and creating an ID. Not long after that, it's finished and I logged in to the game.

I decided to create a character based on my appearance with a bit of change. So, I took a face selfie and put it on the game folder.

Well, we can adjust the other part anyway. Besides, it's still animated anyway. So it's like the anime version of my face.

I choose Archer as my job because I wanted to try being Archer in the game as I already became a swordsman and a magician in real life. I put my nickname with katakana 'Kizu' it was just the combination of my first and last name without any meaning.

After I clicked the 'complete' button the screen changed to what you call a beginner town in the medieval era. The newbie who just created their avatar will spawn in a circle garden with a big memorial stone in the center which I currently in.

One player after another spawned after me. Most of them trying to move their avatar and clicking many things to try the control. The game was the type where you need to click to walk. The skills can be adjusted and put on the number 1 to zero.

Every newbie spawned with a basic weapon for their class equipped. Besides that, there aren't any items in inventory. Because Ishigami said he will be late, I did what every people did in the old RPG game, looking for the elder.

Good thing the town wasn't that big. The elder's house was just ahead of the player's spawn place. Not many players went to the elder because there is no need to as this is not an old RPG game. But my intuition told me it was not a bad decision to go there.

When I arrived, I clicked the elder to talk with him. The elder started explaining about the monsters surrounding the town and requested me to kill 10 slimes without reward. I accepted it instantly because there is no way my intuition was wrong.

I promptly went to the slime zone which right in front of the gate of the town. Many newbies were there killing slimes. Because I'm still level one, the only skills I have as an archer were 'Power Shot' but it's enough to one hit a slime.

I clicked the skills and killed a slime in front of me. Looks like my good luck still effective even in the game, I got an item with a red name and another one with a white name. I still don't understand, but I assumed the rarity was different. The red item was a memento ring.

After killing 10 slimes, I got a memento ring, ten slime nucleus, and five small HP potions. I went back to the elder to report the quest.

When I arrived at the elder and reported the quest, he suddenly gave me a new quest after he saw the ring. It was the start of a chain quest and while waiting for Ishigami to log in, I decided to complete the quest.

The first quest required me to seek someone in the forest. He was hidden, but looking for him was easy for my luck and intuition. The next was to kill big slimes until it dropped an old necklace which dropped after one fight.

After completing the second chain quest I made it to level four and gotten myself a purple named bow from the elder. The last quest required me to kill the boss wolf in a cave near the forest. Without further ado, I went there equipped with a purple bow and newbie armor.

When I arrived, someone was fighting the boss wolf. It was a girl with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and red eyes.

The girl was level 8 magician, and her nickname is 'Luci'.The fight looks one-sided with the wolf as the winner. Before the wolf killed the girl, I had used 'Multishot' and it instantly killed the wolf. As expected of the purple bow.

"Thank you. I stumbled upon this cave while searching for goblins." Luci said in the chat.

"Don't mind it. I need the wolf for my quest anyway." I answered.

"I don't know there is a quest like that?" Luci asked.

"Maybe it's a hidden quest? This is my first time playing this game. Oh, I got the quest from the elder." I said.

"What?! First time but you have a strong bow?" Luci said with a surprised emoticon.

"Well, the elder gave me," I said with a shrug emoticon.

"I see, I don't know there is such a hidden quest even after reading the guide," Luci said.

"Hehe, you still stumbled in this cave even with a guide, though," I said with a laughing emoticon.

"C-can't be helped, I saw a rare monster while searching for goblins after all," Luci said with an embarrassed emoticon.

"Haha. Well, it must be fate, how about we added each other in friend list?" I said with a smiling emoticon.

"Sure, I feel like this meeting would be a legend. Regardless, please treat me well, Kizu." The girl said with a smiling emoticon. Then a screen popped up saying,'Luci added you as a friend.'

"Ou, please treat me well too, Luci," I answered with a smile emoticon and added her too.

'Come to think of it. Ishigami still has not logged in, huh..'

In the end, Ishigami logged in 30 minutes after that, right after Luci logged off.
