Chapter 62

Times passed quickly. The renovation of my restaurants finished smoothly at the predicted time. At first, people come there because it was the rumored restaurant of a handsome model. Cannot be denied that most people who come were girls.

Needless to say not all of them, but mostly yes. Most likely it wasn't a few of them who come there hoping to meet me.

In the end, they came to enjoy the food Maoxing and his wife made. In these times a reservation was required if they don't want to wait that long in the queue. Even though it's only a month after the opening, the numbers of guests are too much to the point we already planned to build a new branch somewhere in Tokyo.

We actually already purchased an old restaurant for that purpose in Ginza a month ago and it is currently under necessary renovation.

But, as Maoxing and Mei Li was the only head chef in there, he said he needs someone who can take the job for the new branch. For that reason, it's been a month Maoxing trained someone to be the head chef there. He also said he needed one more month for his disciple to ready.

Right now I am in front of Kei's apartment. Today is Saturday, 7th September. I visited Kei without telling her first to surprise her. From inside the apartment, I can only sense one presence which is Kei because yesterday she told me she will be in-home the whole day.

"Yes, Wait a minute please," Kei said then the sounds of footsteps can be heard coming toward the door. Not long after the door opened revealing Kei with her casual home outfit. It was just a white T-shirt and short pant which actually made her look cute.

"Yo, Kei-chan! I've come," I smilingly said.

"S-s-s-s-s-senpai?! W-wait a minute!" After realizing it was me she said in a panic and went back after closing the door hurriedly.

After five minutes of hearing the sounds of hurriedly opened and closed clothing chests, Kei opened the door once again. This time she was wearing a white one-piece dress.

"S-senpai... For the time being, please come in." Kei said with her cheek a bit red.

"Ou, thanks. Excuse me for disturbing..." I smilingly said and went inside the house after taking off my shoes. Then, Kei takes me to the living room which actually near the entrance.

"Please sit comfortably, senpai," Kei said as she pointed at the Zabuton. While sitting I look around her house because it is the first time I came here. I also don't sense any presence of people except Kei, which made me wonder where the heck is Miyuki-chan.

"Ano, Senpai... Why didn't you tell me first if you're going to visit..." Kei said with her cheek pouting a bit as she sits in front of me.

"Hehe... I just want to surprise you. Yesterday you said you would be at home the whole day, so I came." I said with a smile.

"*Sigh* Then, any purpose of coming here?" Kei sighed then tilted her head and asked.

"Only one and a half I guess." I casually said.

"One and a half? What do you mean?" Kei curiously asked.

"The half is I want to talk to you about someone. But one is more important which is to see you." I said with a gentle smile.

"...T-that's unfair" Kei looked away with her cheek reddened and said.

"A-anyway, I'm going to the toilet for a bit. And I will bring a drink for you, senpai. Do you want tea or coffee?" Kei stands up and asked to change the topic.

"Hehe...Adorable. Tea is fine, Kei-chan." I smirked and said.

"Guu... Okay, please wait!" Kei averted her eyes and said while hiding her reddened cheek then promptly run to the toilet.

Not long after, Kei who looks like already calmed herself back and went to the refrigerator to take a big bottle of tea and two mugs on the shelves. Then she gave one mug to me and poured the tea.

"Come to think of it, where are your brother and father?" I curiously asked after drink the tea.

"Both were working part-time today," Kei answered.

"So... only two of us right now?" I smirked and said.

"Y-yes. A-anyway, the reason you come here is to talk about someone right, who is it?" Kei said to change the topic but her cheek blushed.

"Half reason. One reason is different, though." I said with a teasing smile.

"P-please stop teasing me, senpai." Kei covered her face with both of her hands and said.

"Haha, sorry sorry. It's about Ishigami Yu, do you know him?" I asked.

"Ishigami Yu? Ah, you mean the loner senpai who was good at mathematic?" Kei said.

"Yes, that one. I'm surprised you know him even though he is a loner." I amazedly said.

"Well, student councils knew most of the student's name after all. Especially someone who was different from other people. What's up with Ishigami-san?" Kei explained and asked curiously.

"Before that, is there a rumor about relationsh.i.p.s especially in the third year recently?" I asked.

"Hmmm...There is one that our vice presidents often talk about. The president of Drama Club, Ogino going out with a girl named Ootomo. Oh, and that girl was in the same class as Ishigami." Kei said after thinking for a bit.

Hearing Kei's answer, looks like the incident was about to happen. I think next week Ogino would start cheating on the girl and boast to his friend. Unfortunately for him and Ishigami, Ishigami overheard their conversation.

"Is there something wrong, senpai?" Kei asked with a worried tone.

"Do you believe if I say an incident would happen between those three? It caused Ishigami to be universally hated by most students in middle school." I said.

"Obviously, senpai. What should we do now?" Kei instantly nodded and asked.

"Hn? You believe it just like that?" I asked with an amazed expression. Kei didn't even ask why we would help him. She really is a kind girl who helped anyone in need when she sees one, just like her brother.

"What are you talking about, senpai? I don't know what kind of miracle you used when we first met. I don't need to know, and I don't plan to ask because I believe one day you will tell me, right? Senpai, since that time when you said you will be with me when I meet my mom, I always believe in you. " Kei said with a dazzling smile.

"Hehe... You made me very embarrassed right now, Kei-chan." I casually said, but I can feel my cheek warmed.

"Hee... This is the first time I saw you embarrassed, Senpai." Kei said with a satisfied smile.

"*Chuckled* At any rate, I think the incident will happen sooner or later next week. But, the start probably will be on Monday. And most likely when most of the students have gone home. I can only go there after school, so if you can please stealthily get any pieces of information about those three." I said.

"Please leave it to me, senpai. Good thing our vice president was in the same class as Ishigami and Ootomo." Kei said with a confident expression.

"I will go to the middle-school division every day from Monday. Should I pick you up from your classroom or student council's room?" I asked.

"They will tease me again if you do that, senpai. I will wait for you on the third floor which is a third-year hall, is that fine senpai?" Kei suggested after remembering the times her friend teased her after I pick her up at the student council room.

"Nn! Let's do it like that. At any rate since it still afternoon, can I spend time with you here until either your father or brother back home?" I nodded and said with an expectant smile.

"S-sure.." Kei lowered her head and answered with an embarrassed expression.
