Side story – Abby Want to Make a Pancake!

Today is a happy day. Because Nanaka Onee-chan promised me to teach me how to make a pancake! With this, I can make my own pancake stealthi-... *ahem* I mean I can make pancake for everyone.

But, Nanaka Onee-chan said I needed to wait for my master to wake up. She said so I could let master try the pancake I made. Hehe, what a good idea! With this, I can make my own pancake and getting a head pat from my master!

Although everybody in the house likes to pat my head every time they saw me, I love my master's pat the best. It must be because I love my master the most!

"Lalala~ Pancake~ Pancake~ Paaancaakee~" I happily hummed the song of the pancake while hopping as I went on a stroll. Because Nanaka Onee-chan said my master will wake up a bit later, I decided to go on a stroll so when I came back home, my master has woken up already.

"Good morning, Abby-chan." Suddenly, someone greeted me from behind. It was a beautiful girl with long silver hair. She is Kei Onee-chan. She is the little sister of Sissy- Oh! I forgot it is Shirogane-san. She also lives near our house and very often came to our house.

Kei Onee-chan is a master's friend but... According to Nanaka Onee-chan, she might live with us in the future too. Because she is just like us, she loves my master! That's why I love Kei Onee-chan too! Definitely not because she always brought a snack when she visited!

"Good morning, Kei Onee-chan!" I greeted her with a smile.

"What are you doing in this kind of place, Abby-chan?" She patted my head and asked with a smile. Then, she looked around as if searching for something. Maybe she is looking for master? Yes, that must be it!

"I just went for a walk in the morning. How about you, Kei Onee-chan? Oh, and if you're looking for Master, he still has not woke up yet!" I smilingly said.

"I-I see...*ehem* I'm just jogging around the neighborhood." Kei Onee-chan stutteringly said with a reddened cheek.

"Rather than that, Kei Onee-chan, are you sick? Your face is red... According to Chisa Onee-chan, someone's face will redden when they sick after all." I worriedly said.

"I-I'm fine, Abby-chan. I'm just a bit tired because of jogging..." Kei Onee-chan's face reddened more as she answered. It seems she is very tired right now.

"I see, then you should rest, Kei Onee-chan. You can even rest in our house." I joyfully said.

"Thank you, Abby-chan. But, it would be rude for me to just rest like that in other people's houses." Kei Onee-chan smiled and said.

"Hmm? Aren't you going to live with us too in the future, Kei Onee-chan?" I tilted my head and asked.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Kei Onee-chan wonderingly asked.

"Nanaka Onee-chan said you were going to live with us too in the future. Nanaka Onee-chan didn't tell me why but I know, it's because you love master too, right?" I asked with a smile.

"..." Kei Onee-chan lowered her head, and I can see smoke coming out from her head. I guess she is really tired... Yosh, I will continue my stroll so Kei Onee-chan can get back home and rest!

"Anyway, I will continue my stroll. So, see you later Kei Onee-chan!" I said with a smile.

"Y-yeah...S-see you later, Abby-chan..." Kei Onee-chan said with her face flushed.

"Nn!" I nodded and waved my hand. Then, I continue my stroll leaving the tired Kei Onee-chan whose face still red away. I hope she gets a good rest after this!

"Lala~ Pancake~ Pancake~"

When I walk in the nearby shopping street, I saw someone I know walking with a brown-haired girl beside him. He said his name was Ishigami but according to Kaori Onee-chan, I should call him... Ettoo... What is it... Oh, I remember! Yosh, I will greet him before I continue my stroll.

"DTgami-san!" I waved my hand and said in a loud voice. When I said that, the surrounding people looked away while covering their hands, I wonder why. Oh, and the girl beside Douteigami-san was laughing when I said it. Although I don't know why being happy is a good thing!

"...Abby-chan... I beg you, please don't hear what Shinomiya-san or Miyazono-san said and call me Ishigami..." DT- Ishigami-san deeply bowed his head and said.

"Hahahahahaha!" The girl beside him still laughing.

"Hmm? Understood, Ishigami-san!" I nodded and smilingly said.

"Well then, I will continue my stroll. Bye-bye, Ishigami-san!" I waved my hand and said before walking away from Ishigami-san and the girl.

"It's a black cat!" When I was about to go home, I saw a cute black cat on the street.

"Kuroneko-san~ Come here, Nyan nyan~" I knelt down and tried to pat the black cat. But, Kuroneko-san avoided my pat and went to the bridge.

"Ah! Wait for me Kuroneko-san!" I said as I run to catch Kuroneko-san.

After that, I tried to catch and pat it so many times but Kuroneko-san keeps avoiding and without realized I arrived at the mountain.

"Don't run, Kuroneko-san!" I still followed the Kuroneko-san until I saw a small river.

"H-Help!" Suddenly, I can hear a cry for help from the river. And when I look at the direction of the cry, there is a little girl drowned in the river. Without thinking, I run with all my might to save the little girl. Fortunately, she wasn't that far from the river so I took her hand and pull her out of the river.

"Haaa...Haaa...Haaa...Uwaaaaaa ....Onee-chan..." The girl suddenly cried and hugged me. Of course, as a good Onee-chan, I hugged her back while doing what my master did that made me feel calm and bliss, patting her head.

"I'm glad you are okay... Could you tell Onee-chan, what's your name?" I smiled and asked when the girl has calmed down.

"Meiko Honma...Please call me Menma, Onee-chan..." The girl answered whiles still hugging me.

"Menma-chan... Could you tell Onee-chan what happened?" I gently asked.

Then, Menma-chan told me that when she was chasing a boy, she ended up slipped and fell into the river. Fortunately, I was there when she was just fallen.

"I see...Then, do you want Onee-chan to take you home?" I asked.

"Nn.." Menma-chan meekly nodded.

"Let's go th- Oh? Are you finally will let me pet you, Kuroneko-san? But too bad, I am the Onee-chan now. So, I need to take Menma-chan home." I looked at the Kuroneko-san who calmly sit near us and said. But then, for some reason, Kuroneko-san walk to my feet and caressed it with its face.

"You want to follow me? Alright, let's go!" Thus, the three of us walk Menma-chan to her home.

"I see, that's why you brought the cat. And good job Abby. I'm proud of you." Master smilingly said as he caressed my head. As expected, I love my master the most!

"Hehehe...Master, master! Is Abby a good girl?" I giggled and asked.

"Always have been." Master tenderly answered while his hand still caressing my head.

"Yay! I love you, master!" I joyfully shouted and hugged him.

"Abby-chan, are you still wanted to learn how to make a pancake?" Suddenly, Nanaka Onee-chan shouted from the kitchen. Oh! I almost forgot about that!

"Don't forget to let me eat it when it's finished, okay?" Master said with a smile.

"Nn! Let's go, Kuroneko-san!" I nodded and said before I went to the kitchen with Kuroneko-san on my shoulder.

After that, Nanaka Onee-chan help me wear an apron and immediately explained how to make a pancake. Now, it's time for me to make my own pancake!
