It shouldn\'t have meant anything.

Not wanting to think too much, Yu Zheng Tong pushed the thought to the back and focused on dealing with the documents he had.

While Yu Zheng Tong could not care too much about this matter because he was busy, Kang Mao Lan was still furious. She really wanted to smash everything that was around her to vent her rage.

"Mom…?"

The faint voice coming from the bed stopped Kang Mao Lan from her rage. She suppressed all of her feelings and turned her head to look at Yu Xin on the bed. Almost immediately, she felt her heart ached.

"Xin\'er, Mother is sorry."

Yu Xin furrowed her brows and scanned her surroundings. She could only remember that Bao Tu brought her to the hospital after they were splashed with hot water. Thankfully, the water was not boiling water, so her face was not scarred completely.

However, it did turn red because she was exposed to hot water. It would take a few days for her face to return back to normal.

"Where\'s she?" Yu Xin asked with gritted teeth.

Kang Mao Lan instantly felt her anger rushed up once more. "That b*tch didn\'t even want to take responsibility for your harm. She didn\'t want to pay for the hospital fee for you even though she\'s the one who put you in harms\' way!"

In Kang Mao Lan\'s eyes, the one who should pay the hospital fee should be Yu Yan. After all, the one who caused Yu Xin\'s face to be scarred was that annoying first daughter of hers.

And yet that annoying daughter didn\'t do anything and instead saying that it was Yu Xin\'s fault.

She was angry.

"What? She didn\'t want to pay?" Yu Xin furrowed her brows. She thought that she would be able to force her sister to hand over the mine\'s right this way. After all, everyone had seen that the one who harmed her was Yu Yan.

"Yes!" Kang Mao Lan gritted her teeth. "Do you know what she said in the phone call? She wants to sue you for trespassing her place! Damn that girl! She didn\'t even know there\'s nothing wrong with her own family member coming to her place!"

As Kang Mao Lan continued to express her grievances, Yu Xin suddenly found out that there was indeed one issue.

She came uninvited!

And she was using Yu Yan\'s bed to do the deed.

Thinking about it from another perspective, Yu Yan could simply say that she had never given permission. She also had never seen Yu Xin asked her about the matter and even if Yu Xin tried to stress that she had asked… there was no evidence.

Using eyewitness?

It would be hard to pay for people to lie altogether. Not to mention, it would be hard for her to say that it was done through meeting face to face because...she had never met Yu Yan privately for the past few months.

The only time they met each other was when she snatched Yu Yan\'s previous boyfriend or when they met in City A.

It was too long ago.

Also, what kind of ridiculous request would be it for her to ask her sister to borrow her place for her to make out? Everyone would think that she was crazy enough to ask for something like that.

As for asking through social media?

There was no proof.

And forging proof was harder than that. Paying hacker to insert text or anything like that would require a lot of money. The price could not cover the cost that was needed.

"Mom, forget about it." Yu Xin finally decided.

"What, but…"

Yu Xin looked at her mother and sighed. Her mother was not one to use her brain whenever she did something. Thanks to that, Yu Xin usually was the one who had to do everything by herself.

"Since sister didn\'t want to pay this time, just let her be." Even though Yu Xin was also angry, she couldn\'t force her sister unless she paid enormous sum.

Kang Mao Lan furrowed her brows. She couldn\'t accept this.

"She\'s the one who cause harm to you but you want to forgive her just like that?"

"Mom, it\'s not like Sister do it on purpose. She\'s just being angry at me." Yu Xin put on pitiful expression in front of her mother.

Kang Mao Lan sneered. "Not being on purpose? Who are you trying to kid? She must have done it on purpose so that you will not be as beautiful as her! How can it be possible for her to not know that you\'re actually the one inside?"

"Mom…"

"I really want to rip that b*tch face for not doing what she should have done as a sister. Did she really think that she\'s all that great? She\'s just a lowly woman who should have not even be present and…"

Yu Xin took a deep breath and pulled her mother\'s hand. "Mom, if sister didn\'t want to pay, it\'ll be hard to force her. You\'re already so old, Mom and it\'ll be hard for you if you try to force her.. Don\'t be so hard on yourself Mom and please make sure that you\'re still be healthy."
