Time passed swiftly.

Seasons changed and the matter concerning Long Family no longer dominated the headlines. However, it was also the truth that the Long Family was still the undisputable overlord in City A.

Long Shu Ting was by no means worse than his father. He strengthened the family\'s business and continued to take more projects that would make the family\'s position in City A got even stronger. There was no other family who could come close to the Long Family.

Those families who were also influential gave up thinking that they could possibly overtake Long Family. They settled down and tried to strike some good relationship with the family head in hope that they could also earn profitable business.

Yu Yan herself was still busy to take care of Xingyan Company. After the new store opening, the business was getting better and better. It was to the point that Lei Xing Yi decided to open another branch in another part of the city.

Of course, they were still in the midst of deciding.

Xingyan Company was no longer a no name company and there were already a lot of people who knew this company. It wouldn\'t take that long for the company to become one of the few most successful company in City A.

But of course, the expansion needed time and Lei Xing Yi was focusing more on recruiting capable people.

Kang San Hai was still helping out occasionally but since his father was planning to retire, he had to take care of his own company. Thankfully, Lei Xing Yi no longer needed that much help from him and Yu Yan could help to cover up the other areas she lacked in.

Today, Yu Yan visited the hospital for a checkup. Upon seeing the result, she was in jubilant mood.

The doctor smiled. "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Long."

Long Ying blanked for a moment before his fingers clenched into a fist and he put on a smile, a happy smile that he rarely showed. After working for so long, finally they could have a child.

An Lin, who was eavesdropping from outside, almost jumped on the spot and destroyed the door.

"This call for celebration!" He said to Lan Huo, who was beside him.

"Of course! Too bad San Xia is still away in the capital city with An Luo." Lan Huo felt that it was really too bad that San Xia couldn\'t come with them to celebrate now that Madam had successfully gotten pregnant. San Xia was pregnant and An Luo would against it if she were to have long journey.

An Lin scoffed. "Just forget about her. We can celebrate with Boss and Madam. Don\'t forget to prepare meticulous gifts so that we can get bonus from Boss again!"

"Sure."

Lan Huo said that but he sent the recording of his conversation to An Lin to their group chat.

San Xia: THAT SON OF A @#$%^&*!…. TELL HIM TO COME TO CITY A AND I\'LL HAVE AN LUO TURN HIM INTO MINCEMEAT!

An Luo: Sure, my wife.

An Lin, who felt his phone vibrated, had his face paled. The last time he said bad things about San Xia and she was still away in the capital city, she sent the boys from the Dragon Clan to beat him up. After all, An Luo would not be willing to leave her side.

He glared at Lan Huo but Lan Huo acted as if he didn\'t see anything.

"You ask for it….!"

"Don\'t you dare to beat me up in the hospital!"

Creak!

The door opened and Long Ying walked out. He looked at the two of them in front of him but was not in the mood to reprimand them. His heart was practically leaping with joy right now.

"Boss, this…"

"We can explain…"

The two of them were nervous when they saw Long Ying\'s face. Would he beat them up for quarreling in the hospital?

Long Ying extended his hand. "Key, I\'ll be driving Yan\'er back."

An Lin was absent minded as he handed the car keys to Long Ying. It was only after he saw Long Ying and Yu Yan walked away did he snap back to reality and looked at Lan Huo with bewildered expression.

"Did Boss not get angry?"

Lan Huo snorted and immediately contacted San Xia for their \'Operation to beat up An Lin\'

While the four of them were having their own bouts, Yu Yan was carefully caressing her stomach. She felt so happy that her wish that she had longed for so long was finally granted.

Slowly, she turned to look at her husband. "Hubby, there\'s a place that I want to visit first."

"Yes?"

"Wei Xia High School."

Long Ying furrowed his brows because the school was located in the capital city while they were in City A. However, looking at Yu Yan\'s expression, he agreed. "Alright. I\'ll ask An Luo and San Xia to prepare a feast there for us."

"You\'re the best, Hubby!"

Long Ying smiled, clearly happy with how Yu Yan addressed him. He told the other two in the group chat, immediately sending An Lin into despair while San Xia and An Luo mocked him. Those two were the one who had to make the trip to Capital City and not them.

After a few hours of journey, they finally reached the Capital City.

Wei Xia High School was located at the edge of the Capital City and it still looked the same as how it used to be. Yu Yan didn\'t enter the school, though, but she walked to the park next to the school. It was the park that she always passed by whenever she came back from school.

Seeing his wife looked around, Long Ying arched his eyebrows. "What are you searching for?"

"I\'m searching for… that one." Yu Yan\'s eyes lit up when she saw the large tree at the side. She walked closer and was about to crouch down when Long Ying held her back.

"You have to be careful in your movement."

Yu Yan: "…" I\'m not that delicate…

However, Long Ying would not take no for an answer. He crouched down beside the tree. "Tell me what you want and I\'ll do it for you."

"Uh… dig here?"

"Dig?" Long Ying pondered for a moment but decided to just do what she asked him to do. His fingers worked as he continued to dig while Yu Yan sat down on the swing nearby. Her eyes were watching Long Ying with the setting sun as the background.

Before long, Long Ying found a small box. He was surprised to find it but he still took it out from the hole and walked to Yu Yan.

Seeing his current appearance, Yu Yan was momentarily dazed. She faintly recalled the day of their second meeting when Long Ying walked to her on her desk. At that time, she was feeling a bit sleepy and used her hands as pillow for her head while waiting for teachers to come.

He coughed to attract her attention.

She raised her head, feeling annoyed that someone disturbed her. But the sight of the young boy in front of her made her dazed. She didn\'t know why or what happened to her, but she felt that the supposedly ordinary young boy in front of her was the most handsome person she had ever met in her entire life.

He had messy hair and wore the dark glasses that didn\'t suit him. Yet, she could faintly see the silver eyes that was staring in her direction. Her heart thumped but the young her didn\'t understand the reason.

She only knew that she should forget the incident on the day before and get to know him better. That was what she wanted.

It was only in the future she realized that she had fallen in love at the first sight.

Well, can it still be counted as first sight? She didn\'t pay much attention to his appearance the day before because she was so scared and busy trying to figure out the way to kick the bullies.

"Yan\'er?" Long Ying called. He noticed his wife was in daze and a smile tugged on the corner of his lips. If his wife wanted to size him up, she was free to do so at any time she wanted.

Yu Yan returned back to reality and her gaze fell to the box. She smiled warmly. "Thank you for finding it."

"It\'s really yours?" Long Ying was surprised. He hadn\'t expected to see the box and thought whether he should clean it up before giving to Yu Yan. However, Yu Yan had stretched her hand and practically snatched the box from him.

She placed it in her lap but she didn\'t open it. "Let\'s go back."

"You\'re not going to tell me what you placed there?"

"Nope."

It was just some items from her childhood which she deemed precious yet held no monetary value. There was even something from him… so she refused to let Long Ying looked at it.

Long Ying was amused when he saw Yu Yan clutched the dirty box so tightly when they entered the car as if she was afraid that he would steal it. He then noticed his wife stare at him for a long time.

"Yan\'er?"

"I\'m glad."

"Yeah?"

"That two years ago, I take your hand that you offer to me." Yu Yan smiled.

If she hadn\'t taken his hand two years ago and started a new relationship with Long Ying, she would never end up this happy. She might still end up fighting with her sister or even end up in worse state.

Long Ying was startled. He chuckled. "I\'m the one who should be happy. The past two years had been the best time in my life and I\'ll make sure that for the rest of our lives, it\'ll continue to be the best of our time."

Hearing his words, Yu Yan smiled brightly. Yes, this was merely the two years of restarting, the two years where they start off their relationship once more. This time, not as friend nor classmates but as a couple.

It was not the ending yet.

They still have a long road in front of them.

Hey everyone, this is the last chapter for 2 Years of Restarting. It felt long yet at the same time short. The story is genuinely just focused more on the two protagonist during the 2 years of their relationship development.

It might be interesting to see more of Long Ying and Yu Yan\'s life, but it\'s already time to part from the two and let them have their marriage life blissfully.

I… Honestly, I don\'t know whether I should be happy or sad for ending another novel. But I think I\'m happy to be able to complete the novel despite having it a bit difficult to write because of the genre *cough*

As you might have known, 2 Years of Restarting is the sequel of 1 Year of Beginning. At the same time, the series is not yet finished. In other words, there will be more series in the future which shared the same universe and these characters might still appear in more story in the future.

Each series will have different main leads, so even if these characters appear again, they will be the side characters and the story wouldn\'t focus on them anymore. Every story will have different main theme. (1 Year of Beginning is simple and sweet love story, 2 Years of Restarting is first love and revenge, others will be revealed in the future)

BUT I CAN\'T give the definite time of when I\'ll start writing nor publish the story.
