Chapter 64 Part 2: Out of Reach
The students around him couldn’t help but exclaim,

The black dome had a dark purple pattern around it, and only where I fired my bullet was there a swirling pattern like a whirlpool.
“It seems to absorb shock.”
“Absorb?”
Pyo Hye-won frowned, as if puzzled.
If it was simply deflected, it would be possible to break it with a stronger impact, but if it absorbed the force, things would be much more complicated.
Hyewon-Unnie floated up into the air and came back down.
“It completely surrounds the entire university, and I can’t see any gaps! There’s… No… Way… To… Get… Inside.”
We looked up at the giant black dome and wondered,

A chilling silence settled between us.

I wanted to believe that it was monster blood, just ignoring the fact that there were bloody handprints all over the ground.
“I just heard some news.”
Jo Yeon-Ho was holding the radio and relayed the news to us.
“They said that there are at least five Hunter Aspirants and Two Active Hunters trapped inside.”
“Hunter aspirants?”
“Yes. They were preparing to take the Hunter test after completing the training at the academy.”
“Who are the two Active Hunters?”
“Ranger Park Young-Chan and Tanker Go Ha-Jin. Young-Chan is a Nightwalkers’ new recruit, and Go Ha-Jin is an independent hunter.”
At least it seems that the situation wasn’t completely helpless.
Just having someone who knows the gate a little bit is a big help.
A Nightwalker Ranger would be a pretty good hunter.
Though it’s unclear how much of that effectiveness a single Ranger can pull off with Go Ha-Jin as the tanker.
“Yeah… Yeon-Won’s talked to me a lot, so he should know the basics… I just… I just hope he stays put, and survive before we get to him…”
She tried to sound hopeful, but there was no strength in her voice.
“Let’s take a walk around first and shoot whenever we have time, it’ll help us check the situation inside.”
