Chapter 8: What Happened?

Lin Xiao was dumbfounded.

"It's better," the disciple said with a smile.

Lin Xiao was pulled back to reality. He looked at the outer disciple and chose to greet him politely. After all, that young man had helped him to execute Mountain's Punch better. For these villagers who never have proper training, every single help worth a lot.

"Thank you for your help. I'm Lin Xiao."

"I'm Wenren Yu," The outer disciple greeted back. He looked at Lin Yun hesitantly as if asking for name.

Lin Yun smiled in response. "I'm Lin Yun."

"Thank you for helping me."'

"You should thank my brother. He's the one who found you and drag you back here."

"Uhm, thank you very much." Wenren Yu bowed his head. "But I need to leave before I cause trouble for you two."

Lin Xiao was stunned by how timid this disciple was. Shouldn't all disciple of Taiyi Sect be valiant and powerful? They were the disciple of the most powerful sect in this place, but the way Wenren Yu acted only made him felt that the image didn't match.
