Reincarnated With A Minecraft Realm

Chapter 9 - 009 - Preparation for departure and Discoveries

[A/N: Should normal ores be able to regenerate after a period of time? Like a week for coal, a month for iron, and a year for diamond?]

A week quickly passed and after just recently explaining to my mother that I wanted to journey across the world I was walking out to the forest to enter the Minecraft world.

I will tell you, my ears still ache after hearing the constant screaming from my mother about how 'Dangerous' and 'unforgiving' the world is and that I should rethink my decisions, but after I repeatedly kept saying that I wished to travel the world she finally stopped talking, although it appears she will not give up...sigh.

I soon entered my Minecraft world and harvested the crops on my farm.

I was surprised to find that the plants have much faster growth in the Minecraft world than in the real world with Wheat taking two and a half days to grow here and wheat taking months to grow in the real world!

In these couple of days, I lured in some cows, sheep, and chickens!

I had also begun experimenting with breeding two cows and found that it isn't the same as Minecraft, sure the cows get pregnant but it will take a few days for the baby calf to be born.

Will Milk cure me of poison and other ailments?

I had so many things I wished to test and sadly it will all take some time.

Also, the chickens and sheep needed some time to breed as well, the chickens only needed a day before they could lay eggs so lately I have been having eggs for breakfast!

Any eggs that I didn't use were just hatched, I made a special little chicken coop that helps the chickens lay and hatch the eggs.

Much like the real world, I have to make sure they are living in the proper conditions.

Another thing I found was that I could craft without the utilization of a crafting table!

If I didn't use a crafting table then I could do anything physically possible!

I could cut the corners of a block, make round blocks, craft my own equipment and truly make this world appear more 'real'.

[A/N: Basically the crafting table and Minecraft system is a cheat, and the MC can choose to ignore this to make different stuff, think of it like real-world crafting, he can use all the materials in Minecraft to make other things without the use of the crafting table]

I even found a cheery tree, apple tree, and an orange tree which I promptly cut down, got their fruit and saplings, and planted them near my farm.

For the plants that I have found, I found Tea, Rice, Onions, garlic, and bell peppers!

I was so excited about finding some of these plants!

Especially tea!

Tea!

I can't even begin to explain how much I have missed tea since I have died!

I used some of my iron that I mined from a local cave and crafted a pot.

Once I had a pot I filled it with water, put it over a hot fire, and then put in some tea leaves.

Within a short amount of time, I had some hot tea!

I sat down in a chair inside my cave abode and sipped the hot tea...

Within a few minutes, I finished the cup of tea and let out a content smile.

I got up and stored the rest of the tea in my inventory before walking over to a c.h.e.s.t in the corner of the room and grabbing a stone pickaxe.

I was running low on iron and needed to go collect some more, meaning I will have to go mining.

I also grabbed myself a stone sword, furnace, torches, and some coal.

I still have around 10 hours of daylight left before night arrives, I have yet to encounter any monsters except the ones that killed me previously and I know that I am no match for many if not most of the monsters.

And seeing as most monsters will spawn in the dark caves can and will be extremely dangerous!
