Anyhow, they got some sleep and woke early in the morning. Alena silently walked to their room and saw Damon was in the bathroom so she grabbed her stuff from the cupboard and even she took out the additional toiletries as facing Damon alone was not a safe choice for her. She then went back tot he guest room to get ready.

After half an hour, she came downstairs and saw he was already drinking coffee but her mother-in-law was not there. She completely ignored him and went to wake her mother-in-law. They joined Damon for breakfast when her mother-in-law spoke "Son you must have got the invitation from your cousin, she is getting engaged to her long time boyfriend so you should attend the banquet as i won't be able to go and bring Alena along".

Damon frowned and Alena spoke "But, mother i don't know anyone there what will i do without you?" Her mother-in-law spoke "I know it will be your first time meeting her as she lived abroad from childhood but don't worry Damon will be there to keep you company and it won't look good if he went alone so please dear". Alena nodded and said, "Okay if you say so mother i will go" then she looked at Damon who was eating his breakfast silently.

They were done with he breakfast and Alena followed him to his car as they were going together. She sat in the car and spoke "You can text me the time and venue and i will go there by myself". Damon was already displeased as he has to bring her along and now seeing her acting so coldly he wanted to smash her and gritted his teeth but didn't replied her.

Alena frowned seeing he was completely ignoring her, she looked out of the window and didn't turned to him. She thought "Now, what am i supposed to do?"
